You know what is f#$ked. I have been PC gaming for over like 20 years now. I HAVE NEVER, EVER had a problem with a game before in my life. If it was a problem it was a small one that was easily fixed. Anyway, since this last patch I can not open the game. This is stupid. I have had a steam account and origin account for a long time and I have never EVER had a problem with playing the games I pay for. I click play and nothing happens, it won't launch. It says I am in the game, but I am still on the desktop. I have reinstalled windows, wiped everything, reinstalled everything redownloaded the game and my drivers plenty of times and still no luck. I even have a stupidly overpriced and overpowered computer for this game. I contacted EA support they told me to delete my Origin cache and redownloading the game which did nothing. I even built a new PC with spare parts and the game didn't open on that either. My current PC build I play on specs are as followed.
i7-6700k at 4.8ghz
2x gtx 1080 overclocked to 2100mhz core both cards (stable clock) have tried opening the game with NO overclocked on both CPU and GPU still no luck.
16 gig ddr4 ram
Windows 10 professional
The PC I built with spare parts to test the game on.
i5-2500k gtx 1060 nvidia 16 gigs dd4 ram
Not the best PC but it should be enough to open the game at least but still had same problem on a second a PC. This is silly. 100 dollars gone? Or have I not tried hard enough to look for a solution. I do get a bit lazy, but I have googled and tried contacting EA and sadly nothing has happened. Thank you for reading. Sorry not really angry, just want to play this game and I have been patient enough since I have only been able to put 6 hours into this game since the release. Most of that was just changing video settings and checking out multiplayer. I really want to play the single player.
Take care all. I look forward to your replies.

Do you have the most recent Graphic-Cards driver? Other option you could try is delete only the Andromeda EXE and then do a repair. Third option is to start the game while Origin is in offline mode and try to register the game again.

If it wasn't the latest video driver, it was some .dll file missing. It was always something on my end, but Frostbite is an ice-cold bi***. You can go blind looking for answers at EA HQ. They're terrible, by the way. I would call Origin and have them call you back. They're really good about that. Of course, it's always the same subroutine you have to follow (you should do it ahead of time before you call) and they will not fix it. Yes, you heard me. 95% of the time, they can't fix it. They do report it and it expedites the issue because Origin doesn't want to field calls for the same issue.

I googled for a few days and done everything I could possibly find. There has to be a fix out there! I appreciate everyone who replies I really do. I am out of ideas and really need help. Sorry. Let me be more specific. I have had little problems but as a casual gamer most my life 20+ years I have not really had any problems with my games on consoles or computers.

Thank you community! I wish I had a PC version. Most of the problems are very common and can be fixed. I know this might sound crazy, but one thing that I've learned about Frostbite is to wipe the slate clean when issues persist. I would uninstall the game through the client and then make sure I moved all my saves to a backup folder. I would delete all remaining files, including those in the usually invisible appdata folder. I would then reload it normally through the client. Let the client f*** it up again and then repair it. That is extreme, but it usually works after that. If it doesn't and you have the latest drivers, directX squared away, then call Origin. Be polite, but tell them you're never spending another dollar through Origin ever again until it's fixed. Investors hate to hear that.

A simple going offline and opening the game made a verification thing pop up. Typed in my email and password and the game launched perfectly. Wow! I did everything and missed that!? Lol! It is sad to think EA couldn't assist me with this and you could a random person on the internet. Thank you everyone and most importantly thank you qwib.

I as well find it hard to believe that someone has NEVER EVER had a problem with a pc game in 20 years. As for the OP's problem, i myself found help from this thread on EA's support forum: answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/mass-effect-Andromeda-wont-open-after-new-patch/td-p/5982982Had a similar problem.

Deactivate Origin Overlay. maybe? Also go to Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save\ProfOpts_profile there change GstRender.FullscreenScreen to 0 ansd also GstRender.FullscreenMode to 0.

Okay game is working but is stutters quite a bit and it crashed with this error! DirectX Error DirectX function "Dx11Renderer::tryMap" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has ocurred."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080", Driver 37878. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the lastest drivers. Also, make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least 512MB.

But before jumping the gun if you have the latest driver try to roll back to an older one.

If that doesn't work, it's also a possibility that the graphics card is defekt.

"Dx11Renderer::tryMap" can happen if you overclock your GPU, set to default clocks for MEA. Also clean install the latest GPU driver.
