OMG! This was way sooner than I thought!!   Fast things: 1) I like much better this vibe "we are in trouble because oh shit the planets are shiter than we expect survival!" 2) Kallo is marvellous 3) Finally NPC Sara... it's something? (interesting about the role the NPC sibling will play)4) Peebee romance scene  BUT EY! I wanted to mention that I know I can be a bit of a hardass. I'm not trying to be, promise. This whole thing reminds of a hastag that got started the last month before DA:I released. #Ripoffthebandaid. The problem is "I'M ONLY HUUUUUMAN" sells better the "we come in peace" slogan rather than "THIS IS TOTAL WAR METHOD NO OBJECTIVE"! I'm planning on getting most of those achievements that were shown yesterday. I didn't see kill 'em kindness but you never know.

If I am watching a sci fi trailer for a sci fi title I want sci fi music and a narrator. No big deal in the grand scheme of things but just because a song, any song has nay kind of lyrics that fit with the game doesn't mean it works, Ghost Rider in the sky included. Just my opinion. I like the song they choose but I can relate you: when they announced Mass Effect Andromeda with Ghost Rider song it was like a...  ... to me. It didn't feel Mass Effect at all, so I can understand why so many people think it's a poor choice. The EA2016 song, Gameplay reveal song and the second cinematic trailer song are way better regarding inmersion... |

I really don´t understand how hard it would have been to give her at least on trailer. Yeah, sure, she had gamplay trailers but that is not the same as story trailers. There is a significant diffrence. Cinematic trailers are what people fist look at to decide if they going to by the game or not. To see what the story is like, the characters and if they are going to like it. Just think that this is a huge misstep.  Don't they normally have more than one trailer? Well Ian said they balanced Sara with other vids, so yep, EA won. Scott is in the trailer only it seems. Maybe they can make it better with a quick and cute Scott/Jaal moment to end the romance thread nightmare, but knowing EA, it'll be Cora again. This would be the fucking only reason why I would gladly to let a Sara Cinematic trailer go!!!! |

As someone who records a lot of cutscenes from BioWare games for drawing reference purposes, I can promise you right now if we don't get a cinematic Sara trailer, I'll remake one of the Scott ones from the ground up using footage of her if I have to. So sick and tired of this; yes BioWare do better than most companies re: diversity, but it's 2017 and they're still advertising their game with a stubbly white guy. I don't have enough limbs to facepalm enough. I completely agree with you. Really tired of this mentality that woman characters doesn't work as well as male characters in gaming. Why else would they not show sara in a trailer too? It really is ridiculous And as all people is pointing out: what about Tomb Ryder? Horizon Zero Dawn? Ellie from the Last of Us? It's not like it's shocking anymore for godsake!! Edit: playing as Clementine in TWD season 2, playing as Max in Life is Strange... COME ON!!!! |
