I'm not sure if this really belongs in the inquisition section but I wasn't sure where to ask this. Anyways, the question is pretty straightforward, which protagonist was your favorite?

The Warden. I can't help it, I love my Warden's The list would have to be like this; Warden, Inquistor, Revan, Dragonborn, Hawke. Sorry, I don't have much love for Hawke; unless it's my canon.

Hawke, no contest. A normal person with no special powers, just trying to do their level best to protect their family in a situation that they were thrown into, and then receiving shit for it in the end. I love their journey from refugee, to champion, to fugitive by the end of the game.
I have two Wardens and three Inquisitors (the third just barely started, though). I like my two full-playthrough Inquisitors more than my Wardens by a longshot. I think it helps that the Inquisitor is voiced, though. Had the Wardens been voiced, then they might edge out the Inquisitors, because it just seems like there are a greater variety of dialogue options for the Wardens.

I loved my warden but the fact hawk was voiced was a big deal. Things were more funny and it made more emotion felt. The inquisitor is cool too but if I'm honest the male inquisitors voice is lacking. both of them. So I would probably go with hawk

The Inquisitor. Second place is the Warden, and third is Hawke.

I went with Inquisitor but I would`ve said Warden if the Warden had a voice. I really liked the Warden`s story the best.

I had to vote the Inquisitor. I loved my Warden, but the Inquisitor won probably only because she had a voice and so I grew more attached to her and saw her as more of a person, instead of my Warden who I just saw as words on a screen most of the time. Hawke was wonderful, but I never got drawn into her story the way I got drawn into the Warden's and Inquisitor's.

Warden, Hawke, Inquisitor. The lack of a real backstory hurts the Inquisitor.

My Inquisitor. I find her story very touching: As a Dalish far from her clan, she finds herself more or less alone in an unstable world and having to navigate her way around human politics. She fights through the strangeness of it all, falls deeply in love - but even while she succeeds as the Inquisitor, she loses first her lover, then subsequently what she had fought so hard to build. I see her as sad but incredibly strong and I know she will never give up.
Love Hawke and the Warden too. For me, Inquisitor > Hawke > Warden.

This is rough, because I have a hard time choosing between the Inquisitor and Hawke. I think Hawke might edge this one out, because I found her the most entertaining of the lot, especially when grouped with both Varric and Isabela. And of course, making a joke as she murders one of the more important Orlesian nobles.

I voted for the Warden, but I like them all in different ways.
The greater amount of RP options and playable backstory for the Warden fleshed them out more than the others, although being unvoiced was a bummer. If the Warden was voiced, that would be amazing. Plus, DA:O is fantastic, no pun intended.
I love Hawke's lines, especially Purple!Hawke, and both voices are superb. Hawke is just so charismatic that I rarely mind that they're a bit less RP-able. So a bit like Shepard in that regard.
The Inquisitor... Well at first they were easily my least favorite. A bit bland dialogue and backstory. The number of memorable or funny lines they had was much lower than Hawke, or even the Warden. Having a voice helps though. Combined with the main story not feeling overly personal, not really developing much or having a character arc, and not romancing anyone, it just made Quizzy the least interesting to me. However, doing another playthrough romancing Cullen really added something to her character, since it added a personal element to the story and allowed for some more fun lines to be heard. Romancing someone seems to flesh-out both the romance option and the protagonist, I find. And finally, Trespasser added a personal story and it finally felt like the Inquisitor's acting wasn't bound by odd voice-over direction anymore, and they did a stellar job. So that endeared me to them more than when I first started.
I do like them all, though. If we're going to wish unlikely wishes, I'd wish that the next protagonist is basically a voiced Warden in terms of dialogue options.

It's a close thing, but it's the Warden for me, simply because he was more my character than the others.
I like Hawke, but she was too defined in several aspects, and the inflexible personality options made it hard to roleplay at times. The Inquisitor is a close second to the Warden, but I disliked the whole religious figure thing so I never connected quite as much with her story as with my Warden's. Also, Morrigan. My Inquisitor didn't have anyone who came even close to what Morrigan was for my Warden.

The Inquisitor wins for me because they have voicing AND race selection, but I love all three protagonists. (Well, at least some versions. I've liked some I've made more than others.)

The Warden. It's the only character you can make your own, completely. I also prefer my character to not speak. Especially with the dialogue wheel (from ME...), I can't tell how many times I have to reload a save because the Inquisitor said something completely different to what I was expecting, not to mention when his tone bothers me. It's really annoying if you are trying to role play as best as you can. With non-voiced PCs there are more options of response, he/she says exactly what you picked, NPCs react acordingly and you can role play as to how they sound when they say those lines...you know, like a role playing game is supposed to be. That's why I think non-voiced PC feels more personal.

Went with the Warden. Inquisitor would be a fairly close second. Hawke is way below the others because the character was too defined and never felt like mine.

I liked them all, but Hawke, Inquisitor, Warden, in that order. It's possible I could like Inquisitor even more if they show up as a cameo or playable character again (because I feel like that character still has unfinished business), but that remains to be seen.
