My country isn't worth mentioning. Apart from the poor democracy, crony capitalism, corrupt politicians, corporate mafias, high-taxes, smugglings and religious wackos, we still have nice islands, beaches and waterfalls to visit.

Czechia is a country balancing on the huge gap of debt using hotels and resorts created by the soviets in the 90's.
Our most common homes are apartment buildings owned by rental parties which take little to no care of them, many low and medium wealth employees live in very poor quality conditions and struggle to manage increases in taxes and health insurances.
Most of our economy bases on tourism, yet all profits disappear into private funds, which (if discovered) lead to a 20 year long court trial that then ends up being skipped due to the "Silencing of Crime" law, dictating all crimes committed 20 years ago are void of charges even if proven.
There are not many open job positions for native workers as most of our jobs are being pushed towards the borders of Czechia and from there outsourced into Germany or Poland.
Overall Czechia is one of the worst-off Slavic countries that is incapable of supporting average living quality for anyone other than their politicians and world-wide pop culture icons.

West Virginia in the U.S. though I'm originally from Ohio (Ohio is a bit flatter) Don't have any pics but the Appalachia country side is quite a beautiful sight to see. I live in Morgantown though which is a college town and the bad thing about that is that there are lots of shitty college students during the school year (population doubles when students come into town for the school year ) There is still some interesting wild life around here though and such.

Sorry, what does that mean? (it's basically "git gud" isn't it? ) MGTOW? I don't know exactly. It's more like depressed red-pilled men who don't seek serious relations anymore. Because they think the society is screwed or something! So yeah, "git gud" then . On a serious note, that doesn't really describe so I'd say no haha. Being the age I am, the only thing I seek actually is a serious relationship.

New Jersey, USA. I live in South Jersey. We have, uh... Casinos: Though AC has degenerated greatly over the past couple of decades. Boardwalks: Bring birdshot for the seagulls! A surprising amount of woodlands: The story is that South Jersey was once an ocean bed, so many areas are still rather sandy. The pine barrens got their name because nothings seemed to grow well there except pine trees. I used to live on the outskirts of the Pine Barrens. The barrier islands provide some unique situations: Boating and fishing on the landlocked side, swimming on the other. Though you do not want to be there when the weather is crappy. and.. well... Camden Frequently rated as the most dangerous city in America. Luckily, there are highways through it to get to Philadelphia and the waterfront. I actually like the Camden waterfront. There's the Battleship New Jersey.. BBT Pavilion (thing has changed names like 15 times) and a few other things. I guess I'm done with the image spam.

Hey, a neighbor! I live very close to the border and been to Czechia couple of times, last time I visited lake Lipno which is quite a beautiful place. You also have a ton of nice historical buildings, castles and you guys have been known for centuries for your high quality weapon craftsmanship. I even used to own a rifle made in Czechia in the 30's - outstanding quality. Though for making that Budweiser piss water you wrongfully call ''beer'' you all should be sued into the stone age! Yeah, your leadership might not be the best, but right now we're at least as fucked in that regard, so you're just following the trend.

Norway... A small country in population. Lots of fjords, mountains and forests. Northern lights are common, especially in the northern parts. We actually have polar bears, but not on the mainland. The island Svalbard has polar bears. We are descended from the vikings, and some of us have Sami blood too. They are the indigenous people of Scandinavia, living mostly north of the arctic circle. In older days many of them herded reindeer, and some still do. We were heathens, praising Odin, until king Olav the Holy christened the country, forcing the new religion upon our ancestors, and ending the viking age. We have some weird foods. OP already mentioned lutfisk. I didn't know it was common in Sweden too. My family eats lutfisk every year on the day before christmas eve, and it's one of my favorite meals. Then there is smalahove, which is basically a sheeps head, cut in half and cooked. It is customary to eat the eyeballs as well. I haven't tried it yet, it's not that common where I live. Leverball - translates directly to liver ball. That's something they ate a lot of here earlier. They taste like puke. And a lot of other dishes with the inner organs of the animals. Blood sausage, blood pancakes, lung mash... The latter is actually quite good, tastes basically like seasoned minced meat with onions. Our constitution day - 17th of may - is celebrated with parades, lots of ice cream and hot dogs, and very very loud children. The traditional thing to wear on this day is the Bunad, our national costume. 17th may parade in our capital Oslo with the castle in the background. You can see the royal family on the balcony. They usually stand there, waving at the crowd on this day. I grew up in the city Tromsø, and still live in the area. Tromsø has about 70 000 inhabitants. It has the world's northernmost university, UiT - The University of Tromsø, Norway's Arctic University. During summer we have about two months where the sun doesn't go down. Makes it difficult to sleep. And in the winter, we have two months where the sun is not there at all. During the darkest part, we have about half an hour with blue-ish daylight before it gets dark again. Tromsø We have three national horse breeds - the Fjord Horse, the Døle horse and the Nordland/Lyngen horse. We have one cat breed - the Norwegian Forest Cat. We also have quite a few dog breeds, I don't remember all the names. We have very nice nature as well. The Geiranger fjord Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) Træna islands Ramberg beach, Lofoten Svalbard

Better than Ohio in my opinion. There's a pretty decent music scene here (which is why I moved here) and lots of bands and shows to see although it probably isn't been as big as it used to be in recent years.

I am not much of a music buff but I would have thought bands traveling through WV would be a problem because of the Appalachians. It must be a pain to drive through.

Oh hey lucretia, a neighbour! I need to go back and visit Norway some tome again soon, it's been a few years now. Such a beautiful country! One of my favorite countries to be honest. Perhaps beaten by Thailand, but still. Lovely place! Slightly embarrassing but I can't seem to recall where I last went.. Up north somewhere. Narvik perhaps? Basically went and had a pizza and went back to Sweden again so it wasn't the longest of visits. By the way, everything of yours is rather expensive! And yeah, lutefisk, or lutfisk as we call it is pretty common here as well, and it's really nice. I've grown up having it before Christmas just like you. My wife haven't tried it yet so I need to make that happen soon. Might need to plan a scenic road trip along some nice fjords in the future when our baby gets a bit older. At least old enough to appreciate it.

I live in New Zealand.
We have all the water.
Our biggest city, where I live, has just over 1.5 million people and is a third of our population. Unless we're working, most of us spend an unnatural amount of time at either a beach or a lake over January and February.
Christmas and New Years involve excessive numbers of BBQs.
Our national emblem is a small flightless bird with a sword attached to its face.
Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Right. Germany. Pros: - a robust, relatively competently run economy - a mostly efficient and affordable health care system - cutting edge technology level (go, experimental stellarator fusion reactor) - beer... pretty damn good beer - not very religious populace (though that's changing for the worse, slowly) - low crime rate (which is also changing for the worse) - some beautiful places like the Rhine valley - a language in which you can say "good morning" and make it sound like a threat - home of the original Disney castle (Neuschwanstein) Cons: - has a government that gladly sacrifices the wellbeing of the populace over that of corrupt banks, large corporations, broke EU countries and strangers of suspicious background - part of the EU... i.e. member of an incompetently run club where half the people has one hand in our purse and shows us the middle finger with the other - almost uniformly left-biased media who scream "nazi!" and "Fourth Reich!" at even the slightest hint of dissent - a justice system that would rather punish a potential victim for fighting back while migrant group rapists go free - an overworked police force whose results get screwed by the justice system mentioned above - a run-down military that gets sent to fight in places that don't concern us at all - hundreds of thousands of strangers who claim to have fled from war (all through Europe) but just can't find their ID to prove it The Rhine valley, Castle Katz and Loreley rock Castle Neuschwanstein Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Winter Frankfurt (yep, we got lots of glass and steel too)
