Now I'm perplexed, these puzzles are the simplest I've come across in games. They're a negative puzzle that's why some people might have problems, but it's just a matter of thinking what it can't be in lieu of what it can be. Those damn locks (PC version) in ME1 are what drove me to distraction. I hope it hasn't affected the selling price, was a nice little money spinner. The early ones are easy but some of the later ones are some of the hardest puzzles I've encountered and can take a long time to figure out and in some cases if you screw up you get attacked by Remnant forces.

We wanted towers of hanoi! You've only really beaten Towers of Hannoi when you programmed a recursive algorithm that can solve it on it's own. Just doing it by hand doesn't count anymore.

I didn't even know these were a thing. None of them are that hard.

Some people just hate puzzles. I am one.
I did notice right away how cheap the keys were now and immediately bought them.
Yeah there is nothing I'd rather do than solve a puzzle then have to survive the cleansing in a game that will not let you save at the moment.
I never heard of Sudoku before this game so I immediately looked up the solutions anyway.
I definitely think it's a fallacy that being good or bad at puzzles indicates intelligence. It may indicate pattern recognition but I am not even certain of that. People that are good at puzzles are good because they do puzzles alot. It's practice.

The only hacking/unlocking mini-game that's enjoyable is hacking in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Until everyone copies that, there's no need for me to sit through it.

Those damn locks (PC version) in ME1 are what drove me to distraction.
It's a console game. Anything to make things easier, they'll do it.
I laughed at the cost change for puzzle keys. Not because the puzzles are too hard, or too easy. But because you can make money so easily in this game. Money is NOT an issue.
I also laughed at the inventory space increase, too.
You only need 2 guns to finish the game. And with the AVP perks you can increase your inventory to more than you'll ever need.
These are two changes that weren't even necessary. Especially in a console game!
How easy can you possibly make this game? How about even easier. My money is spent on respecs and eezo. I don't want to play fuckn Sudoku, and the puzzles are easy for me

Don't even remember what locks you are talking about. That's how easy they were. Be careful about bragging I don't like Sudoku. The puzzles are easy. Don't want to be interrupted to play Sudoku. I spend money on other things. Very clear, I think There are people who are not robotically compelled to do puzzles and grind achievements, and I'm one of them.

Why is this even a thread? Not everyone likes them, and I'm sure it's a priority, it must have taken two weeks to change the values. Waste of coding time. This is... a joke... right? I honestly cannot think of a simpler thing to change in a game. Values like money are very very easy to change in a game. You clearly have not messed around with the creation kit for Skyrim/Fallout if this is not a joke. It was a joke...

Because, like the locks in ME1, some people don't like them. Having said that, money is so easy in MEA that I'm not sure the cost needs to be reduced. Incidentally, I came across a puzzle in the elaaden vault that couldn't be solved without trial and error (i.e. it was a 5x5 which only rules out 3 possibilities). I did an Internet search on the vault puzzle, but I couldn't find anything showing the precise form of the puzzle I was given. Has anyone seen this? Yup, it does require some trial and error but you should be able to get some of them for sure.
