Decreasing the cost of remnant decryption keys - why is this a priority?

Some people can't solve them or need help to do so. Or some might be "lazy"/can't be bothered so if the cost is negligible why not buy some?

Because, like the locks in ME1, some people don't like them. Having said that, money is so easy in MEA that I'm not sure the cost needs to be reduced.

Incidentally, I came across a puzzle in the elaaden vault that couldn't be solved without trial and error (i.e. it was a 5x5 which only rules out 3 possibilities). I did an Internet search on the vault puzzle, but I couldn't find anything showing the precise form of the puzzle I was given. Has anyone seen this?

 #osito If memory serves me correctly, with that particular puzzle, it becomes apparent fairly quickly if you failed with your initial 50% choice. Switch those tiles around, you then have you known positive. Hope this helps.

Because there's never been a puzzle in an RPG that wasn't a colossal waste of time, and some of us just don't want to be bothered by the dumbest RPG trope since elves, or something.

I hate puzzles.

Not all of us like Suduko.

Key is sort of pointless when the solutions seem to be posted everywhere.

Amusingly, some of the consoles I ran into said that a key couldn't be used.

I actually enjoyed the sudoku. I liked it's so easy even I can solve it

The puzzles are not too difficult but they do impede gameplay and flow. Probably not the best design choice.

I really enjoy the puzzles, but sometimes I just need to finish up the mission already so I can save and quit the game. I carry extra keys for this reason.

Why is this even a thread?

Not everyone likes them, and I'm sure it's a priority, it must have taken two weeks to change the values. Waste of coding time.
