Maybe when the game comes out I can start a thread for LFG terrible players. Then we can at least try it in a non-judgmental group. If it turns out to be bad, then at least we tried. Really good idea, it'll get mod support if you do that Thanks. I just have to make a note of it on my calendar so I don't forget to do it. That would be embarrassing.

You know you want it! ..... That trauma .... @.@ Yeah I really hope that they won't go the Fallout 4 way with the strikeforce missions. I'm pretty curious about the whole system and like they want to tie it into the singleplayer and vis versa. Muddy Boots - Tried to doublequote but I don't know why that failed: I'm all in for the"I suck at multiplayer but I want to try my (chaotic) best"- team That is a nice idea. Maybe when the game comes out I can start a thread for LFG terrible players. Then we can at least try it in a non-judgmental group. If it turns out to be bad, then at least we tried.

.....So we can do these missions as a single player too? That's pretty awesome, especially if these strike team missions reveal bits of the story - I hate the idea that not doing multiplayer means I miss out on plot-related stuff within the main game (bonus equipment I can live without). Not that I'll never try multiplayer... it's just that I'm not that great at combat (or rather, I'm good at taking my time and strategizing but 'spray and pray' pretty much describes my shooting skills). And I don't want people getting mad at me because I suck or am taking too long to kill stuff. If you're on PC, look me up. I never played multiplayer yet because I suck. We could get a group together of people like us and try to muddle through it. See what happens.

Hm, can't say much about my character atm other than Ryder would be female. My first plan was to call her Samantha, but after I heard that they use the name Sara in conversations, it would be very immersion breaking for me, if Ryder has another name than Sara. For me it would be very irritating. Because I always suck at pulling of a jerk in my game-playthroughs I think my Ryder will be more on the good side of people (ugh! The cringe all the time! I always end up to feel overly guilty and hate my character afterwards to the degree that I delete it and play again as the nice one). Because she is young I wonder if I can shape her from a nosy, a bit naive & sometimes overly energetic brat into a more lvlheaded and mature person to the end of the game. I really like to see her personality clashing here and there with squadmates and other NPCs. As someone with a lot of smaller siblings I hope that the relationship with Scott will be like a very natural sibling relationship. Like you love to tease each other, clash here and there but overall you care for one another. Maybe make some mistakes and grow together while learning from that negative experiences. Support each other in difficult situations or question/criticize things if it is necessary. In Dragon Age 2 I always struggled with Carver and in most of my playthroughs he was more of a rival than a friend though. At one time (I think it was the 3rd playthrough) to the degree that he really despised me because I was too demanding and overly pushy and a real jerk. But I was SO annoyed by him, because I really tried (again and again) to get on his good side and he did keep on nagging, nagging, nagging. Ugh! And here I was so happy to have a brother ingame (I always wanted one in rl but my parents didn't let me. Got 3 sisters instead.) So Scott: Hope you'll be a nice brother (and you can be nerdy and dorky as hell! Really, I would love that!) I think you will always just be called Ryder unless you use the default names, then sometimes Sara or Scott. So you can use Samantha. At least that's the impression I got.

I'm not sure yet, but I'll probably start with soldier or adept focus and then dabble around with some other play styles on the second run.

Honestly, it's probably going to be both for me lol. I'll probably do what I did for DA:I: PC first then the GOTY edition on PS4 once that's out. .....I'm just now realizing I own the entire ME trilogy with all DLC on both PC and 360 (though 360 was my primary platform for that one). I think I have a Bioware problem You sound like me. I was going to suggest we start a Bioware 12-step program, but nah. That would mean we'd have to give it all up. Not gonna happen.

I play on PC. And Bioware stated they'll support controller for PC so if that's what you end up preferring, you can do that.

I don't think Sara will be too aggressive. On the contrary, I think she's very protective about Scott even if she always teases him. But she loves her brother and I think Bioware will show her affection towards him several times during the game. I also believe that she'll be the older one of them. But that's just my assumption. Like most siblings: "The only one who can pick on my brother is me!"

The first time I heard of Mass Effect was from someone I was chatting with in an MMO. ME2 was coming out soon and they were talking about it this RPG. I said "A what?" They laughed. I tried it. At first I couldn't stand the WASD and mouse but I got that hang of it and fell in love with the game. I was inspired to play and like the DA series as well, but Mass Effect has my heart.

Why do people think the children-marriage discourse have to be in this game? I see most people who like the option to have it if time skips are in the game, or as a dialogue option at the end of the game, or for new games if we'll still play the same character. And the people who don't like the option have this (apparently obtuse) belief this must be in the middle of this game. If this game Ryder help find a new place to start colonies, at the end of the game she can have resolved to have fuond it, and the colonists start new cityes. By the new game, years can have passed: town have been build, the situation may be less pressing. Why not think about building ourselves something? maybe not even a family: a house. A little space all to themselves, builded only fo them. Their little piece of planet where they can relax. Even Shepard had an appartment in Citadel. And I don't know the others, but it was interesting having a little home for my Shepard, even if I would have loved the chance to customyze it more. Depending on how many games there are in Andromeda with the same characters, and how many years there are of time-skip in between, a family can be easily introduced, but it would (for me) be just as rewarding a little side note at end game sayng my character had a family based on a dialogue choice made in game. Your Pathfinder does get quarters on the Nexus that they can customize to a degree. That way they do have a place to go home and chill until the time comes when Pathfinder has found the perfect planet(s) for all the colonists.

i dunno, 12 buttons sounds like you're compensating for something 5 buttons sounds like more than enough. I've got five right now, but I'm planning to go up to seven or eight for my next mouse. I look at it like this: Left click: shoot Right click: aim/zoom Middle click: melee attack Extra 1: grenades Extra 2: special ability 1 Extra 3: special ability 2 Extra 4: special ability 3 Obviously, this'll fit with ME: A pretty well, but even beyond Mass Effect I've found that a lot of shooting-based games tend to have you jumping between roughly that amount of regularly-used abilities. Everything from a Deus Ex to a Call of Duty. I may have to go shopping for a new mouse.

According to Merriam-Webster: Mammals are "any of a class (Mammalia) of warm-blooded higher vertebrates (as placentals, marsupials, or monotremes) that nourish their young with milk secreted by mammary glands, have the skin usually more or less covered with hair, and include humans"
So they have hair and nourish young through mammary glands as well as warm-blooded, etc.

GalentheYounger I think elcors are supposed to be based on elephants. They look a lot like elephants without trunks to me. Trunkless elephants. At least they seem that way to me. But, when I saw one walking through the Citadel, it looked like his front feet were curled a bit and he was walking on his knuckles like a sloth. So maybe a Slothephant?

I'll wait until the K&M demo is out. However, DA:I at launch did not support mouse remapping and I use a 12 button gaming mouse. My 5 button gaming mouse feels so inadequate now. I have a left button and a right button. Now who's inadequate?

If you've ever been to Australia or Southern Europe there's fit people all around. Not everyone is America, Samoa and UK lol. Not all Americans are fat slobs, either. There are plenty of fit people around as evidenced by looking around my gym. I'm sure it's the same for Samoa and UK.

Like everyone else said, you won't have to do the trilogy, but I recommend it. It's a good story and worth it for its own sake. It's inexpensive-ME2 is free right now on Origin-and for me, anyway, it connects me to the ME universe. Andromeda will have its own cast of characters, a whole new setting and purpose, but their origin stems from the Milky Way and it's just nice to have that background.

Great, now both of Ryder threads will be filled with half-naked models. Not that I mind it much (as long as people know how to use spoiler tag), but one of the best Nexus specialists, hope of humanity and then this. Weird. Like - Is Tempest maintance over? Clerk#1: Yes, of course, you are good to go, Pathfinder. *Pathfinder walks away* Clerk#2: Dude, have you seen her beach photoset from Milky Way? Clerk#1: Oh yeeeaah... Even better if there would be photoshoot in the game! Of course it should have good justification in the story. Fundraising calendar.

Had to use my CSI:BSN skillz to find her haha. I had the instgram post but not her name. Scanned the comments for "Jayde". We have a mutual friend so I searched their friend's list on FB and found it. Very on-the-beat journalism lol. Wow, nice one BioFan! And is it me, or she looks more different from her model than Scott from Steve? It's not just you. Sara doesn't do the model justice. Hopefully they've adjusted that.
