I don't know how much can we take from that video, but if Scott is anything like Tom in it, I'd be very happy, I love the idea of Sara having a brother like him, he was great I get the feeling that Scott would be very tolerant of Sara, not necessarily because she's dominant, but he's happy to let her think she's winning because it makes her feel good.

I chose 3 because there's no such thing as a perfect game. There will always be something that might irk me, but I can still enjoy the rest of the game just fine. I think Andromeda will be fun for me to play in general, and that's really all I need.

Why? I had an instant dislike for the woman who plays her...and if she (Sarah) is even a tenth as annoying and slapstick as her I am definitely going to see she does not make it to MEA2. Also, yes hopefully Scott is not written as a fucking bumbling buffon who is the ME equivalent of the big bang theory male cast. I would not put it past Bioware tho because...you know...Sarah is a woman we got to hear her roar louder and better than a man or else the game might be labelled sexist. Anyone who manages to qualify to be a Pathfinder isn't going to be weak. Young, maybe a bit nervous about taking on the role at first, but not weak. And I doubt they'll be shy about doing the job. One article or other said that they're also part diplomat, so he's not totally going to be shy, either. Maybe he's a little less secure around women, but it doesn't make him weak. And I doubt he'll really be afraid of them. Just because he might be a bit quieter and more laid back does not make him a wimp.

Hope there is a personal quest for Scott Ryder if you play as Sara, "Help your brother to stop being afraid of Sex" Maybe there is this girl on the Nexus Scott has crush on, but can't bring himself to speak to her about it (and really doesn't want to say anything to Sara because he knows how it would end, but she notices anyway and helps him, but makes fun of him relentlessly ) That would be cute.

Wow, that was so worth the hype up for this presentation. I wasn't really expecting more. I did like seeing the Tempest, though.

So is there going to be a live stream? because the link in the OP is not working for me. Also GMT+0 is 2:30 AM right? The page is right, but I don't see any evidence of the livestream link on there... www.nvidia.com/object/ces-2017.htmlMaybe the link won't go live until just before it starts.

I think we're getting-can't remember exactly what they're called-forward camps(?). You discover a node/lode and claim it like a logging camp and then it automatically sends small amounts of materials to you. At least I think I saw something like that. If true there goes the 'waste time collecting stuff' argument. Of course I imagine if you decide to collect the materials on your own you can do so faster, more efficiently, but this would be great. I think it's fairly small amounts and you still might want to go collect stuff. It might be like sending someone on the war table to collect mats, but happens automatically. Every little bit helps, though. I do love exploring, though. I just don't want to have to keep going back to the same places for respawn of plants and things.

goin' to highschool Yea this. Aren't bro and sis Ryder quite young? Like extremely early twenties young? Seems I remember reading/hearing/seeing that somewhere. I think in that video Mac said he thought about mid 20-ish. Which could pretty much mean anything 23-26? But he when he said this it seemed like he was just guessing, so they could be earlier 20s.

Yep. I want to know how much I'm increasing or decreasing a stat. ME told you when you allocated your points. Hopefully they'll carry that to crafting. And yes! I never really did find all the most beneficial schematics for my mage. And keeping your materials would be a great addition. I never found something that I thought was aestically pleasing. A finglerless glove for my Archer Inquisitor instead of the metal gauntlets I found would have been so much easier. In the end I just...gave up. Yeah I kind of just went mostly with what I could find and do. They could have done better with that part. And often by the time I got to an area where I could get enough materials for a real boost, I was outgrowing it already. That's my fault, I think. I tend to neglect crafting for leveling until I got to DA:I. Then I had a hard time changing my methods.

I think they'll have the RPG stats for armor, they'll just call them something that sounds more sci-fi instead of a flat out description. That way we'll have to sit a minute and try to figure out what the heck we're increasing. But it will be something to do with increasing barriers for protection/strength, first aid implants for health, that kind of thing. If ME:A is going to go with the weight issue (which I hated) I really hope that you can mod your weapons to make them significantly lighter, not just a smidge. I'm sure accuracy, attack strength, whether gun or melee weapon, something to increase accuracy and that kind of things. And of course, biotics will be in there with amp fortification and improvement.

Yep, me too. And maybe, maybe try MP. We'll see. If I hate it, I can leave. Replays are going to take me some time because I'm starting a new job next week and will need time to recover from that as well. Not to mention, well, life in general. yeah I don't touch MP but I love playing single player. Creating new Shepards and going through these games. Yeah, I may end up sticking with single player unless something drastic happens. I didn't realize I had an edition (got it for free) that included all the MP DLC so I popped in, made a character (human) just to see what I could see. It somehow sorted me into a group with very high level players before I could even see anything and they booted me immediately. I'm sure the gazillion level players really weren't happy to see a level 1. But we have a date and I just got more excited for Andromeda. I can pre-order now.

What're you wanting to more about before the game is released? What're you NOT wanting to know more about before the game is released?
I want to see hair, especially Liam's. I'd like to see how the character creator works. I want to see a bit more more about the other races. I would like to see BW name some creature Space Bears. I don't want to see too much, if they ever release the info, about what happens at the beginning to cause all the havoc. I want to see that for myself. I guess I don't want too much of any particular topic because I do like to be surprised, especially story-wise. I do love the speculation from Andromenerds because that's always fun and summaries and analyses like you, BioFan have been doing. So, I guess, I'm happy to sit back and let you do the footwork for me.

I love this idea. The inscription of the loved one's name somewhere on your gear just had me go "awww." Like a medieval knight take his ladies's favor into the jousing tournament.
The stuffed toy, too. Pictures. Maybe if you're romancing someone who isn't a squad mate and you are spending time apart, you keep a picture of him or her with you somewhere on your person to check out now and then.
A tattoo, or anything permanent should be optional, though. What if you decide to split? Come to think of it, will you ever get the option to break up?

I look forward to this new set of characters. While I do prefer to stick with the same character over the course of several games to develop them, there does come a time when they reach a pinnacle and after that there's nowhere to go with their story. I loved all my Shepards. They all managed to save the galaxy, so how can you possibly do better than that? Retirement on some beach somewhere? Not much playability there.
So I'm looking forward to meeting my Ryders, developing them from wet-behind-the-ears noobs into heroes who might even one day become legends in their own right. I hope they do well and I get just as attached so we have a nice long journey together.

It's okay. I have other stuff to play. Also, I work full time so it takes me a long time to beat games actually. I'm doing femshep now and I may do a dudeshep run if I'm not burned out and still have time. Yeah this is what I'm doing as well atm doing a few more runs of the trilogy. Started my latest run of ME3 last night with my engineer Emily Shepard was thinking of doing a male Soldier next. Yep, me too. And maybe, maybe try MP. We'll see. If I hate it, I can leave. I was particularly struck by all the ME3 multiplayer footage. I've never played MP and I'm kind of regretting it now. That stuff looked cool! Not too late to start! What platform are you? And the Turian characters. I feel the same about the MP, but I still hesitate. I'm so bad at shooting I don't want everyone to be yelling at me. I've generally not seen that ever be an issue. Overall, the ME3MP crowd seemed pretty chill and laid back across all three platforms when I was heavy into it (PC, XBox 360, and PS3... I mean, Wii U exists, but I never did that one). Just make sure, if and when you dabble, select "Bronze" as your difficulty when searching for lobbies or creating one. That's the lowest difficulty, so people should be less crappy and more like fellow noobs or casual players. You can also try going to our ME3MP forum and asking around for any members of Bronze Effect that may still be active. That was a group set up specifically to be laid back and casual (and despite the name, most members can do any difficulty with you). I'm on PC. I have been looking at the forum here. I'll probably dip a toe in as soon as I figure out what everyone is talking about-packs and things-though I think I've got the idea. Thanks.
