We have to recognise that ''multiplayer experience'' games (i.e. conceptual garbage-games) are nowadays getting into market pole position because of their HUGE profitability. We already saw how they were trying to test the idea with Dragon Age players in Inquisition and I think this Dylan is much possible to be a game like this, like a Destiny knockoff or something as Lazarillo suggested here. I think that's one of the main problems with the fantastic Dragon Age story: it would be better off if a company wasn't responsible for its management hahahaha

If im hoest i've said for awhile BioWare needs to change it formula even if i do enjoy it, it been the same for years an is becoming, if not already became, stale.
As i said i enjoy it an games ppll cosidered bad BioWare games i liked, for DA i'd a liked, instead of adding MP, a formula akin to the original Guild Wars, but oviously BioWare in style, where the companions an there stories are still there but i could instead of using them i could invite my friends to take there place, prob SWTOR style without the map being mmo.
Mass Effect tbh i felt the natural progression for a new ME game was to go the Destiny / Divison route an feel that was a huge missed opportunity there.
Whether ppl like it or not, online is here an here to stay, genre defying games like Destiny like Divsion, games that are fp tps, rpg, mmo, coop all in one bundle are prob only going to get bigger better an lot more popular, am no saying the 2 games mentioned are great games, hell there alot both suffer from, but it the experience they offer ranging from the solo activities to the coop feels of finnaly getting the pesky boss down that im seeeing alot more ppl wanting.
I be slated for saying it but BioWare needs to look to its future an i dont think it sees its future in SP only games anymore especially with being a division of EA more importantly they wont, the question for me still remains what direction they go, personally as stated for ME, for me they defer shoulda went tthe Destiny route, DA is the hard one but again for me the ability to invite friends and adventure with them on difficult quests in the main campaign would be great

Listen here y'all www.polygon.com/2017/5/22/15675002/dragon-age-new-game-biowareEDIT: “What I can say is I have been given considerable autonomy to work on a storyline bit of lore which is well-segregated from other parts of the game.” He added, “It's nothing that grandiose, but it is distinct. It’s a bit of lore which has not been addressed much to date in Dragon Age.”I don't know if these are good or bad news. I think we all want to discover new things about the universe of Thedas, for sure... but this part of me that is an untreatable romantic wants to know more about headcanon! My Warden, Morrigan, all the ''old comrades''... sigh. Well, I suppose I'm just overall happy that they are currently developing things about a new DA game.

With more updated information in my pocket, my opinion is thus: I think Dylan at E3 this year. DA4 at E3 next year. So, DA4 release of 2019. Sometimes that idea makes me sad, but at the moment, it seems tangible. And there is a comic to look forward to for me to read, once it's all out.

And talking a bit off-topic, which DA books/comics would you advise to read? I've heard great about World of Thedas, but I don't know if it's a book you can acquire via Amazon and such or if it's something distinct

I've heard great about World of Thedas, but I don't know if it's a book you can acquire via Amazon and such or if it's something distinct You can Aquire All on Amazon, least I did. I liked all of them Except Mage Killer. Mage Killer is pretty lame. Stolen Throne helps you understand Loghain and Maric, and by association, his sons Cailan and Alistair that come later. It's a prequel book to Origins. The Calling explains Alistair birth and the Architect in the expansion, Awakening. Fiona is a character in this book and she is a significant character in a second book and the game Inquisition. Duncan, the man who conscripts The Warden is Origins, is also in this book. But again, another prequel. Asunder is the only thing that explains why the Mage Templar war even happened in DAI, and Cole, a character in DAI, specifically references events in it. So read that one for sure. The Masked Empire is a mixed bag- explains what the heck is going on in The Winter Palace portion of DAI and introduces Imshael. Kinda lame that DAI depends on two books o fill in the gaps... But DAI doesn't suffer too badly for it. And I just love the comic mini series "The Silent Grove" etc. Which may have information about some of what DA4 may be about. World of Thedas is fun to read to more fully understand the lore and other important folks that have affected Thedas History, but I wouldn't suggest it as a must read. So yeah. Play the games, read Asunder. Probably good. Still want more then, buy everything but Magekiller. A new one is coming out, Knight Errant, but I'm waiting until it's completely done before buying
