The Xbox One has its own system for tracking achievement rarity, and therefore gives some insight into what players did and didn't do in Andromeda.
Some of the percentages are pretty interesting. The percentages will change as more people complete more tasks of course, but it is a good 'right now' snapshot and the game has been out long enough for it to be relevant.
Overall state of completion
- Only 74.51% became the pathfinder - Only 68.90% of all players gained access to the Tempest - Only 59.25% activated a remnant vault - Only 58.57% established an outpost - Only 56.86% made it as far as Aya - Only 20.95% of all players completed the game
AVP
- 42.79% of players got 1 planet to 100% viability - Only 19.10% achieved 100% viability on all planets
Loyalty
- Players who completed Drack's loyalty mission - 22.79% - Players who completed Peebee's loyalty mission - 18.39% - Players who completed Vetra's loyalty mission - 26.76% - Players who completed Cora's loyalty mission - 29.85% - Players who completed Jaal's loyalty mission - 20.82% - Players who completed Liam's loyalty mission - 19.83%
Difficulty
- Completed the game on insanity (or 5 gold MP extractions) - 3.04%
Random
- 33.45% equipped 3 different profiles - Performed over 100 power combos - 23.83% - Detonated 10 targets primed by a sqaudmate - 27.26% (AKA, Biower pls, give us squad control back).
Rare achievements
- Detonated trip mine with thrown enemy - 1.77% - Only 0.45% completed 20 remnant decryptions in a single playthrough - Only 4.18% killed 100 enemies whilst hovering - Charged an enemy from cloak - 3.34% - Hit an enemy with a thrown enemy 25 times - 2.21% - Shattered a frozen enemy with aerial melee - 7.46% - Got a strike team to level 20 - 4.42% - Travelled 30m in one jump - 7.91% - 3 enemies ignited with one flamethrower attack - 7.49% - Melee's 25 floating enemies - 2.05% - Keep Nomad airborne for 35 seconds - 1.43% - Completed 3 romances across all playthroughs - 2.98% - Unlock rank 6 for each profile (or MP equivalent) - 0.72%
Thoughts on this? Pretty surprising how many players put the game into their Xbox and barely progressed at all. Also surprised at the low loyalty mission complete percentages.
EDIT - Poll added at request of carefull

Got a strike team to level 20 has been glitched for a while, only one left I need. Got six strike teams to level 20 and still nothing, I can't be bothered with it anymore or the game to be honest.
The one thing I missed from the previous games was the different classes achievements with the separate powers, it encourages you try different classes on a second play through. But with this game it can all be done in one play through.

Damn, too high, I expected to be one of 1%.
Less than a half of players complete their games, that's a common thing. 20% is still lower than this though.

Not surprising at all, the average completion rate for that kind of games is normally around 25%-30%.
E.g. steam stats for Dishonored 2: it's 17+25% per character (Corvo\Emily), and it's safe to assume that good share of those players had actually played as both. And only 87% had made it to the end of prologue.
Also, have in mind that we don't really know their XBox math. Did they track the number of the games sold? Of the games installed? Of the games ever launched?

There are some shockingly low percentages There, was the Xbox version so buggy?
I know my nephew bought it & gave up soon after because of bugs.

The amount of people that buy a game, boot it up and then barely touch it again is staggering for a lot of games. And I gotta admit I'm partly responsible for that myself sometimes

Of the games ever launched? Yeah, even Mass Effect 2 was only completed by about 50% of its players, and that was one of the highest percentages IIRC. As for achievement stats, I assume it's the number of accounts that have the game activated, same as on Steam. Got a strike team to level 20 has been glitched for a while, only one left I need. Got six strike teams to level 20 and still nothing, I can't be bothered with it anymore or the game to be honest. Same here, hopefully it gets fixed with today's patch. That, and the hang time achievement, which is all but unobtainable on PC. There's no way to tilt the Nomad so it boosts slightly upwards with a mouse and keyboard.

Loyalty missions don't surprise me, I've skipped most of them on my first PT when I gave up on all side quests and rushed the main story.
I don't think that those stats are worse than any others AAA game though.

Hmm. Maybe people really don't have time for RPGs anymore. Eh, maybe. But if, say, Baldur's Gate had achievements back in the day I'm pretty sure the percentages wouldn't be all that different less than two months after release.

Those numbers really don't surprise me. The completion rate is lower then other BioWare games, but the game is much larger then the linear experience of the other games. With two playthroughs of Andromeda I have about half the total time I have invested in Mass Effect 2 and I have many more playthroughs of that game.

It's a player thing, not a game thing. Hmm. Maybe people really don't have time for RPGs anymore. This is a lot of it. Some buy it thinking it will be non-stop shooting action, and then they think, "WTF, too much talking". I have friends like this whom I pity. (I think it makes them look dumb, or at least in need of patience, but I'd never say as much.) There's a lengthy section of strictly RP after Habitat 7; especially if you do all of the quests that start popping up on the Nexus. A lot of people don't have the patience or desire to play RPGs. Add to this MEA's open worlds and lengthy completion time. I doubt most numbers will ever climb drastically.

This was the most annoying trophy for me to get. Was it because it forced you to be somewhat completionist? I know you like to customize your PTs and be selective about what you do and don't do. I came up two short on my first PT. I missed the elaborate puzzle on Hvarl, despite seeing the inert console before entering the Vault. (It was easy to forget.) I also missed the somewhat hidden one late game (we're not in the spoilers section). I'm not sure how I didn't see it. I "platinumed" the game at the beginning of May. I thought "Hang Time" was the most pointless. Jumping a cliff a half-dozen times wasn't all that entertaining. I'm glad that trophies are a one-time achievement. I'll never have to do a couple of these things, again.

I'd say I'm surprised how few people even became Pathfinder, but having looked at achievement percentages for other games and especially RPGs, you'd be amazed how many people seem to start up a game and quit after 5 minutes.
Despite Dragon Age: Inquisition being more than 2 years old, only 13.44% of players have completed the game - fewer than have already finished MEA - and as well as that, only 65.82% even finished DAI's prologue.
Edit: I'm going through more DAI achievements and I'm just fascinated - less than 30% made it to Skyhold, only 15% set up at least one camp anywhere in the game, roughly 10% completed a romance, less than 5% killed all the High Dragons, etc.
And that game will be 3 years old in November...

No. It was because if one is missed in a vault, the player cannot get back in that vault. I missed the one in the EOS vault. I was already near the end of the game when I decided to look up on the internet where they all were. I ended up doing a playthrough for that one trophy.

I wonder if it includes guys who played on the free EA access trial. Anyone who did that and never bought the game wouldn't be able to get past Eos even if they wanted to. Looking through my own completed achievement list I unlocked quite a lot in the early access, so I guess it does include people who never even bought the full game.

That's a very good point actually - the EA Access Trial is technically the full game, so achievements do indeed count even if they're earned in there.
