Another issue with the Ghost is its scant augmentation slots. The Valkyrie ends up with 5, if I remember correctly. The Ghost has a more pedestrian total. This is likely by design, as it's not an Ultra Rare. Still, it's a significant loss.
If they at least add the option to desconstruct, I'll be content.

Field stripping is hardly the same as turning something back into raw materials. With AR15, you separate upper and lower receiver, pull the bolt out... And oh, wait, you're more or less done.

You expected a post 2010 Bioware to be accurate and detail aware? Started in 2014. Bioware didn't exist to me before then. I referenced 2010 as that was the year Drew Karpyshyn last worked on Mass Effect. He was not the only one who left just the most visible I guess but as the main visionary I feel that the lack of his guidance is what allowed the ME3 ending to become what it did.

Drew seemed to do a good job, and I'm a big fan of his work. Still, Casey Hudson is "the main visionary" of Mass Effect. People don't like his OT ending, but it's impossible to cut him out of the picture. There'd be no Mass Effect without Casey.

ME3 was an amazing game.
People focused on the one bad aspect, silly ending options, then blew shit out of proportion.

ME3 was an amazing game. People focused on the one bad aspect, silly ending options, then blew shit out of proportion. The ending was the Big Reason, but there were plenty of other things people strongly disliked. Cerberus as a sith empire faction, the overabundance of autodialogue, Shepard's lousy dreams, the geth being ruined as a faction, the [initial] tie to multiplayer in the singleplayer narrative, etc.. Of course, these things would hardly ever be mentioned if the ending was good.

Don't let 10 minutes of crap ruin hours of greatness. its not like I wanted it too, trust me. I want to love mass effect everything. the ending just, on every level, ruined it. I wasn't even going to give Andromeda a shot because of how bad the ending was, but I'm glad I did. I had a good time with Andromeda overall.

It saved the game's ending for me (better than that nonsense make up by fans).

Loving the X5, only gripe is that you can't deconstruct it atm, only destroy. So I'll have to hang onto that vintage heat sink till I level up a bit more. Yeah, just noticed this too, so will not be augmenting that gun anymore

Funny cause the description states design makes it easy to maintain. Cleaning a rifle involves taking it apart. This some more lazy sloppy from Bio. Which you clearly know a lot about. Field stripping is hardly the same as turning something back into raw materials. With AR15, you separate upper and lower receiver, pull the bolt out... And oh, wait, you're more or less done. What? I'm pretty sure soldiers are often taking weapons and breaking them down to iron and carbon in the field. This is common practice. Sloppy Bioware.

The X5 is sooo versatile. It is seriously my favorite gun now, which probably means a nerf will come to it in the future.
I swear that Ryder can reload the gun faster than I can open a can of soda.

It's exciting to about the short reload time. I put a VHS on the first one I ever built. After discovering that I couldn't deconstruct it, that won't be happening again before Tier X. With that huge ammo count, this thing doesn't really need a VHS; I just like them. I'll soon see a Tier III Ghost, sans VHS, in action on Eos.

I'm a bit lucky that the patch was out by the time all my equipment was at Tier X. The X5 has become my go-to weapon, and I only really switch it out to use my Vanguard powers w/N7 Piranha.
