Yeah I'm not that thrilled with the changes either. She changed slightly after 1.05 as well, I really wish they would stop messing with her. The changes are extremely jarring when I'm in the middle of a play through.

Sara was already beaten by the ugly stick, like most women in Andromeda, nothing BW could've done to change that fact.

I still don't understand why the presets of Sara and Scott can't be tweaked by players. I think having an untouchable preset is quite stupid. I may like Scott's face, but I hate his hairstyles and beard. Same for Sara: I don't mind much her face, but I would go with short black hair and green eyes.

They also changed Scott, danaduchy posted this: What the hell happened to his lips?!?! The new texture looks AWFUL! Sara actually finally looks like a human being in this picture even if the outfit is ridiculous for Mass Effect. However, I agree that just pushing aesthetic changes on the player they can't influence is not cool. Would have hated that lipstick on Sara if I played default...

I may like Scott's face, but I hate his hairstyles and beard. Same for Sara: I don't mind much her face, but I would go with short black hair and green eyes. The default faces weren't built the way CC faces were. There's nothing for the CC to interact with in those faces. Though that doesn't explain why eye color and hair couldn't be modified -- those aren't likely part of the scanned data.

-waits for someone to post a screen shot- Plucked from the Twitter thread. I think her makeup looks fine in the context of that casual outfit, but not in the context of the Pathfinder or a member of the Pathfinder's team.

Plucked from the Twitter thread. I can't believe this is the crap I'm getting for the money I spent on the Deluxe edition. Thank god there were other perks because this is just so ghetto.

Man, what is UP with the eye-modeling in this game? It always looks like the eye-sockets aren't proportioned properly to the eyeballs.

Eh, I agree. I don't appreciate having default Sara suddenly finding big sis's makeup bag and giving it a go right before going into the field to blow things up. Dumb. Having the option to apply makeup in-game would be nice, like, before attending parties and such. But when I'm going to be in a hardsuit and fighting? haha but remember Miranda? She went fighting in high heel boots and no armour ... and kept a perfect hairdo , at all cost. And Dr Eva Core/EDI also, and that one was a top heavy AI .

Not to say that this looks good or anything, but I'd wonder how often anyone would really apply makeup at all if their day to day involved lots of combat.

Save for a couple of presets, I don't really see anything in particular that's wrong with eye proportion. I did have lots of issues with DAI's eyes for the Inquisitor though. All that rotating and resizing to make them not look like they were props pasted to the face.

Not to say that this looks good or anything, but I'd wonder how often anyone would really apply makeup at all if their day to day involved lots of combat. Or working out at the gym, which this outfit kind of implies. I know some women who stop at the gym after work and thus do still have makeup on, but that's different than looking like you put makeup on just to go sweat it off. I guess they can do what they want with their default faces, but when it comes to actual makeup appearance they should leave it alone and let the player figure out if they want it on, and when. DA has Black Emporium, we can't get a mirror in our quarters for that?

I really hate the new Sara look. What happened to having a choice? I liked it when she had paler lips and lighter brown hair? Do my choices not matter? I already chose a look, how come I am forced through a change that I do not want? Options Bioware, options. Give people the choice of selecting lip color and hair color why is this so taboo? I know this was a bit of a rant but A: They changed the model for me mid-playthrough, B: It was a change I do not like, C: I am AGAIN left with no option but to swallow this and go on, D: The custom faces are unacceptable and I liked the default model so making my own is out of the question, E: It really takes me out of the game as soon as I see that lipstick in the dialogues, makes me quit playing after a few minutes every time I start the game.
This is not the way for a development company to act. Give us a choice in a game where choices matter, come on.

Even if we could just change things like hair/eye color, hairstyle, and makeup options that would be enough (for the default), even if we couldn't change the facial geometry like we do the other presets.

Yeah, exactly so. It's mostly the make up that screws up my game immersion, Granted the hair seemed better in a bit lighter shade of brown in my opinion. I'd be ecstatic if they just let me change that damn lipstick, it makes her look freaking 35. She's supposed to be 22 or something right? She looked her age previously.

I for one am screwed since none of the other face presets are nowhere near good looking and other options of customising the face are also not to my liking. I chose the default face because I found it suitable for me (and only me, you can disagree ofc) and having it switched on me for one I don't find in any way likable is kind of a kick in the nuts since now I can neither identify with her nor change it in any way. Hope that clears it up a bit (or makes it more complicated lol).
