I'm not sure if I like completely the new "embellishment" on Sara, nor for Scott. For me they were fine from the beginning.
As for Scott, and males in general, I don't like the lack of proper beards, and I'm not talking of Mathusalem beards, just longer than the sort of stubble you have here.

2. Her complexion has been "smoothed" over. It is less shiny. That is hit or miss. You know that there's a mod on Nexus that allows you to use default Sara's face texture on any of the other presets? I really liked it, mostly because... the default Sara's face texture had "shine" on it and it made the skin look unique when compared to the others. I didn't use this mod for long (only in offline mode) because a) I'm a bit afraid of getting banned, I was afraid that BioWare was going to change this skin texture anyway and my character would end up looking different. My biggest fear was that BioWare would remove the shine and make this face texture look more in line with the others. I was literally like "Knowing my luck and how BioWare ends up doing EVERYTHING exactly opposite to my liking in Andromeda, I bet they will change this shine on the texture, even though noone complains about it". Huh, there you go, they did it, I didn't even have to wait too long. Seriously, I don't know anymore, even though I don't really care for it because I play with unmodded Preset 9, I still find it funny - I don't know where was the last time I found a game that does literally everything exactly opposite to my likings, lol. I'm not saying she looks worse now (maybe even a little better after all?), but still, the shine was the part that I actually liked xD Didn't mean to rant about it, just thought I would share this little "story" of mine Did anyone ever figure out how to do this with Scott's default face texture on other presets?

Nope, Scott's face texture doesn't seem to work that way. The most likely reason for that is the fact that Scott's face texture is hidden in different "package". As long as you switch textures that belong to the same "package" it works fine. Default Sara's assets reside in the same package as the presets, but Scott's face texture seem to reside in different one. If you try to move texture from one package to another then the game crashes. We might see a fix for that with newer modding tools.
