Would you be against a named main character in the next game

You know, despite of deep adoration for Hawke, that's actually my LEAST favorite nickname of all. That olde "e" on the end still maketh me grind my teeth.

Mainly because I don't see them doing that for all four playable races - meaning that there'd be up to a total of eight names they'd have to pre-record - and I don't want them to limit race selection again.

The only thing I want, is that your LI stops using "Sie" in the german dub when talking to you.
"Sie" is the formal you, which is used when you talk to someone who you're not on first name basis with (boss, co-worker, stranger, a teacher etc). I hate it when it's used between people who are clearly in a relationship. It feels so impersonal. The personal you would be "Du" which is used between friends and family (and co-workers if you're on first name basis)

So far I heard the "Du" being used between:
Hawke and family
and...that's it...

Of course I don't want them to just address you with "Du" from the beginning, but maybe when you reach a specific point in a friendship. Like for example dealing with Dorian's Father, or doing Cassandra's quest about the Seekers. At least your LI should (when you're locked in) call you "Du" in personal conversations. (When I played ME2 I had a conversation with Thane and he said "Du bist mein bester Freund." (You are my best friend) and I was SO happy he addressed my Shepard with Du and not Sie. QwQ It was only one line, but still.)

I know, this thread is about first names, but the "Sie" feels more impersonal to me, then getting called by a title.
