Sara can say the line: "I always wanted to give archeology a try." Isn't that pretty much what she did before? Digging up prothean crap. It was my understanding that she didn't do the actual archaeological part but was more of a guard. Hmm. She's a bit of a poser, isn't she?

Eh, she never really claims to have any particular expertise, but from the dialogue regarding Liara in Alec's quarters, she at least spoke with the people she accompanied on their digs about their findings.

It's lines like "The first time I handled a prothean artifact, I was hooked." that made me think otherwise.

Yup, I see I saw it wrong now... That was a little more than coincidence, two broken face plates in the space of a hour. Was the Ryder having a bad helmet day or does she always fall on her face? First time is understandable given that the jump jets weren't functioning at first and so the fall as harder than anticipated. Second time is a weird coincidence. Ryder can say at one point that he thinks he might have bad luck.

Well, the purge wave that came out of the Remnant tower did fling them off of the platform, and when Ryder was clinging to the edge, was hit by some debris that was being shot off of it. Alec was injured as well since you can see him limping.

Why the hell does not the game force you to wear helmet in hazard environments, like -50 degrees Celsius or where there is high levels of radiation?
No in mass effect, everyone has a super head that can withstand anything... but their body however....

That just made me realize that the second time the jump jets were working, so they could have used them to break their fall, but both Ryder and her Dad ran out of jump jet fuel at exactly the same time.

If your Pappy put his mask on you while you were still breathing, how come you died? Yeah because respiratory depression is never a gradual thing. It always goes from fully in control and conscious and directly into no voluntary or involuntary breathing comatose person. The new connection to SAM overloaded Ryder's implant. That's why he was taken to SAM Node. Without the transfer and with the helmet, he likely would have been fine, but then there would have been no Pathfinder.

Maybe, we don't really know the specifics of Ryders medical condition and when the problems of SAM-implant overload began. An arterial blood gas would shed some light but as usual in media they don't go into specifics about the injuries. I guess they could have Alec scan Ryder and then have SAM spout som jargong followed by the same scene we already have but I'm not sure how that would improve the story.

Shepherd Et Al. ran around Rannoch for Tali's loyalty mission. I forgot why they were there in the first place. If a bunch of Quarians and Shepherd can get to Rannoch(mind you, most of the Quarians ended up dead). Therefore, it seems just as plausible for a bunch of Asari to visit Rannoch, perhaps to Acquire that Satellite technology that was used in planning the Andromeda initiative. Or they got some (seeds) from the Quarian fleet garden ships.

First time is understandable given that the jump jets weren't functioning at first and so the fall as harder than anticipated. Second time is a weird coincidence. Ryder can say at one point that he thinks he might have bad luck. If you look closely you can see that Ryder didn't fix the crack all the way. It's possible that this, and it having been cracked the first time, weakened the integrity of the glass making it easier to break the second time. Also Ryder does get hit with some debris, as KaiserShep said, when she's holding onto the platform. The force of the purification field or whatever that was, was crazy powerful, would jump jets even be able to work in that kind of force? I agree though I think Ryder does have bad luck. Or they got some (seeds) from the Quarian fleet garden ships. Yeah, that one never bothered me. I assumed she got them from the quarians who were going to come with them on the quarian ark and that they got them from the quarian live ships.

Yeah, Daddy sacrifice has no sense at all. At the beginning Ryder was able to fix his broken helmet in 2 seconds with omni-tool, but later after the fall suddenly he couldn't ? Alec too ? Odd, very odd.

Odd, very odd. The entire front of the helmet being shattered is probably a bit different then it being cracked.

If you read the security terminal messages, they have no idea where the exiles ended up or what happened to them. They've searched a bit, but with dwindling resources, decided it wasn't worth it anymore. Obviously Spender knows where they are at, since he's in contact with them, but he's covering his activities left and right and anyone who should care looks the other way.
As for "first contact," sure there are angara who have met exiles in the wild, so to speak, but the Tempest is the first non-angaran ship to find Aya. That's why it's a big deal.

Well, the purge wave that came out of the Remnant tower did fling them off of the platform, and when Ryder was clinging to the edge, was hit by some debris that was being shot off of it. Alec was injured as well since you can see him limping. That just made me realize that the second time the jump jets were working, so they could have used them to break their fall, but both Ryder and her Dad ran out of jump jet fuel at exactly the same time. Did they run out of fuel? I don't recall that being said. I just thought the force of the wind(?) was so strong that it overrode any ability of the jump jet to break their fall.

Some of the exiles were still talking to people on the nexus (i fixed their antenna). The anti-AI virus quest has exiles returning to the Nexus. Vetra seems to have contacts throughout the cluster. As you noted, Spender has contact with them. And it has been approximately a year. There are shuttles both working and crashed all over Kadara. If the leadership on the Nexus is still unaware of the Angara, they (especially Kandros) are REALLY bad at their jobs. Yes, you are the first human on Aya, but the reaction doesnt seem to be in line with people who have been fighting or at least aware of humans for again, approximately a year.

Why are there land vehicles parked everywhere yet no one every drives them.
Why have mechs as a mini boss yet never have them respawn in the open worlds
Why is the same wildlife in every planet? Who thought yup, this seems enough. Missed opportunity for sand snakes, space buffalo, xenomorphs, spiders, etc
Why is there no funeral for Alec ryder?
why doesn't peebee and Jaal have an alternate outfit with an enclosed space suit?
Who decide Ryder's jacket outfit looked good in comparison to Sara's or Shepard's
I'll have more later

How from day one, does everyone, and alien, know's me, my title where I come from and my shoe size, when I don't know them from Adam. Have they played the game before me? I do one little favor for someone/thing and they trust me to walk around anywhere, steel everything and even suck my lollipop after I've licked it. Trust should be built up slowly between alien races over the series. I mean you can bonk the aliens before you have time to unpack, it's just so unreal. The Archon can be anywhere and do anything when it suits the story, other than that he's a moron. Your Pappy got the machine thingy working on Habitat 7, so why's it not working? If your Pappy put his mask on you while you were still breathing, how come you died? No way can you just shout 'Full stop' , and come out of hyper-drive and be nose to nose with a big Kett ship. There should have been a pile up there. If said Kett ship had you in a tractor beam lock, how come you could fly away? Why do the Kett hop sideways like little sissy's? And many, many more............ 1. Everyone knows you because you're the Pathfinder, essentially a celebrity. 2. Did you miss the whole "do something for the Angara in order to earn their trust enough to let you help rescue the Moshae" bit? Also, Jaal's growing trust arc over the course of the game. 3. The Archon is on board his flagship aside from when he visits Habitat 7 and Meridian. 4. The weather machine on Habitat 7 abated the storms in that area but the planet is still racked with storms for the most part. 5. Toxic air. 6. Hopping is effective and fun.

Who decide Ryder's jacket outfit looked good in comparison to Sara's or Shepard's I'll have more later It would have been interesting to come across moving vehicles. From the looks of them, they're unarmed transports, so they'd be pretty easy targets for us if they were objects we could interact with. It would have been awesome to be able to ambush a kett supply convoy and ransack their stuff. But then, we should be able to shoot shuttles out of the sky as well. I'm kind of glad mechs don't respawn in the open areas much. If anything, I think that the mechs should be tougher with more abilities (like cluster grenade launching and greater mobility or something) to greater justify their being more of an "event" boss. I have a similar gripe. My thought was that perhaps the cluster's being largely engineered by the Jaardan to have life may account for it, but the varying environments make that questionable. Like, each world should at least have some fauna specifically adapted for the specific environments, even if they're fauna we can't interact with, like say on Havaarl, there's some arboreal life moving around in the trees, like simian-like creatures or something like that, and smaller desert creatures on Elaaden or Eos that quickly disappear into the sand when approached. You know, I never thought about the funeral. That should have at least been a post-campaign thing. But really, forget about the funeral. Where is the body? Surely they took him off of Habitat 7's surface. The lack of sealed armor thing is basically why I treat Jaal and Peebee similarly to a lot of ME2's crew, which I hate. I strongly dislike having to select a squad based on who can actually look better equipped for a certain environment. It would have been no thing to just have Peebee wear basic Ai armor and Jaal to wear the fully sealed suits that the Angarans already have models available for. This is why I think that "iconic" looks are a crock of shit that BioWare should really get away from. Yeah, Scott's jacket sucks. The reversal is funny. Shepard's jacket was better than any casual wear FemShep had, now the other way around. There's a few things I can point out, but the big one for me is the master stroke sequence of the game. When the Archon attacks SAM node, why is the Nexus left alone? If the goal is to primarily capture the milky way species for study and exaltation, it stands to reason that subduing the Initiative leadership would be the best course of action.
Not exactly certain how workable this would have gone, but my idea on that is that it would have been better if the Nexus itself was the jumping point of Meridian: The Journey Home.
When sibling resets the SAM implant and is captured, the Tempest crew should have first made it to the Nexus in hope of stopping the Archon from capturing the station and taking the Hyperion. After pushing the kett troopers and ridding the station of them along with Kandros and his militia, we find that we're too late and the Hyperion is forced to detach and make their way to Meridian, and from there we make chase along with the remaining forces on the station and the newly-acquired Remnant fleet.

On Eos, they tell you that you need to use the Nomad because the high winds make travel by shuttle impossible. But everyone other than you is using a shuttle the entire time you're on the Eos.
If it was determined that the optimal place to put a settlement on Eos was at the beckon, why did the put the two settlements where they did?
If Peebee came up with the name Remnant, why does everyone else call them remnant?

No way can you just shout 'Full stop' , and come out of hyper-drive and be nose to nose with a big Kett ship. There should have been a pile up there. I was confused by that, too. Were we at FTL at the time? If so, Kallo detecting anything ahead of us would be flat-out impossible. Although since the Scourge was all around, we were probably out of FTL. Anyway, if Ryder fixes her/his own helmet with the omni-tool after falling out of the drop shuttle with Liam, then why does pappy have to sacrifice himself by taking off his own helmet for Ryder junior after the purge-explosion on Habitat 7? Or is there an in-game explanation I have missed? It does seem odd to specifically show that the omnitool can repair a helmet (something seemingly new to the lore), and then not use it again in the same mission. I feel like there was a reason why it didn't work though (simply more damage?), but it's been a long time since I played the intro and I don't remember. Edit: This post is fairly unhelpful The faceplate was completely destroyed in the second mishap. Who can say that the omnitool would have sufficient minifacturing materials on-hand for such a serious repair, after already doing an earlier repair? Also, unwanted , Alec didn't repair the monolith on Habitat 7; he shut it down and ended the machinery+Scourge energy loop. The terraforming machinery is too badly damaged to be deactivated on Habitat 7. EDIT: Perusing the thread, I'm seeing a lot of misunderstandings and false arguments that could be fixed by paying better attention to the game. Maybe I'll revisit some of them when I'm not stuck browsing on my phone.

Until the power runs out. What?.... Do the ships in the future run on batteries?
I'm a scientist, I have a haggis for a brain, and I can't pronounce the word atmosphere. Who am I?
