I play on PC. I had quite a few consoles in my life. Even though my gaming started from Commodore 64 and Amiga 1200 later, I then later moved to consoles. I had Amiga CD32, Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in US), PSX, Nintendo 64, PS2. But at some point I bought PC (I think it was around the time I got PSX) and couldn't go back to consoles anymore. My first PC was assembled to me by the guy who was selling me illegal games for Amiga 1200 In Poland (in 90s) there were Computer Fairs organized around the country (for example every Sunday). You could buy some PC Software, PC parts and so on, but the strongest point were the people copying games on Amiga You came with your floppy disks, you chose from the "catalog" which games you want and they were copying it them on your floppy disks. I know, piracy stuff, but that was the only way back then in 90s to get any games on Amiga in Poland (we were under Communist control until 1989 so it took some time to catch up). And oh boy, the community. Even though I was a kid, I still remember that community and how people knew each other. That was great. Here you have a picture from one of the computer fairs: So, the guy who was selling me games in one of these computer fairs assembled a PC for me. I think my first PC game was Fifa World Cup 98. Later on I got some consoles and newer PCs but I still focused my gaming time on PCs. I owned PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and PS4 recently but all were sold sooner or later. I think I was just raised in the times where you had to tweak stuff and actually work a bit to make the game launch and I'm bored on consoles. Though on the other hand, the older I get the more I appreciate how easy consoles are (I gotta say I like one unified interface for all your achievements and stuff). But my heart will always be with Amiga and PCs

There are a couple of reasons why I only use the PC. One that I grew up with using mods and there's quite a number of games having a thriving modding community. The other one that I don't need another piece of electronic equipment than the one resting on my desktop anyway. It's good for work, browsing the internet and playing. So why pay another 400 for something else? It's also that none of the platform exclusive titles so far interest me much. If you're looking for a secondary gaming platform just for fun. The switch or even just picking up a used WiiU isn't a bad choice. Zelda BOTW is one of the best games I've ever played, but its also very much sandbox style with a ton of creativity involved. But being able to play that, mario, super smash, and hopefully monster hunter on the go, in bed, in the car, or on the couch watching fixer upper is worth it. Of course being on a ps4 and chatting with yours truly, beats them all

Console, only because my PC (a gaming laptop) isn't up to spec anymore after serving me well for a few years. I prefer PC gaming and love modding, and maybe once I get my dream desktop I can play Andromeda on PC The one thing I noticed, though, while playing on PS4 is that I play more of the game because (it's 100% my fault but) I tend to get sucked into modding and spend most of my time either tinkering with mods or trying to get them to work while I troubleshoot problems. I'm looking at you, Skyrim...

PC, I've been a PC gamer for years already, mostly for versatility, mods, graphics, etc. I've been thinking about getting a console, even a used one, for some couch gaming, but can't decide whether to go Switch for Zelda and MP goodness, or PS4 for HZD, The Last Guardian and TLOU. Decisions, decisions.

Of course being on a ps4 and chatting with yours truly, beats them all I don't see me switching to any console at all. I play a lot of strategy games, such as the Total War series. And these games live and breathe because of the modding being done. Such as historical uniforms and campaigns, weapon damage and morale. I think they're even exclusive to the PC, but I'm not sure. I also play a lot of city builders. Again heavily modded. There's also the fact that using a console, you're never fully in charge of your hardware. It's most obvious with FO4, where they finally allowed modding for consoles, but the manufacturer decides on what you're allowed to use. Far as I know, Bethesda even had to pay hefty fees to the console manufacturers to be allowed to host a number of mods. Which is a problem in itself, since you have to use the Bethesda interface instead of directly downloading and installing them from the Nexus website, where most mods come from. My major hub for modding games.

PC will always be best for fluidity of movement (K+M) and graphics...and at least the potential for modding. It's also going to cost you 10X (depending on how fancy you want to go) what a console with set you back. So it comes down to what you value more.

I played the OT on PC but changed to PS4 for ME:A.
Which was a great choice because I played the trial on my PC and it made my PC cry.

Mass Effect 1 - PC originally. I've always had Playstation, so I couldn't play ME unless I got it on PC. I enjoyed it.. My computer at the time was good, but not top of the line so ME ran kind of poorly from time to time.
ME 1 - Andromeda - Playstation. I purchased ME1 on PC a few months before ME2 was released on PS3 (and there was no way my computer at the time could run ME2) so that I could experience the entire story, despite not being able to import a save (this was fixed later once they released ME1 on the PS3 as well). After that, I've played the entire franchise on console. Despite later getting a much better computer that could have ran the series, I enjoyed it on console, especially once I could play ME3's online component with some old friends.

Console versions have way more bugs. I almost haven't encountered any of the at times hilarious bugs you can see on youtube.

PC, as of a few years ago.
My gaming journey was a bit odd. Never had a console as a kid but I used to play around on my old man's mac classic. Jeez it was great when he went to a decent pc. I have such fond memories of playing Quake (with God mode on, of course) while listening to Frogstomp. 'Tomorrow' still reminds me of the first level.
Through uni I had a bit of a crappy pc but it was just enough to play Morrowind. I spent a fair bit of time with the original tomb raider games too. Then in about 2009 my brother convinced me to get a PS3, which was what really got me into Mass Effect.
Once that was getting obsolete I went for a gaming pc. I wanted to build one, plus I wanted access to steam and gog so I could play a mix of AAA, indie and old school titles. So glad I did.

PC for me as well. I've never gotten along well with controllers, and I also have a harder time with immersion with consoles. I don't know why that is, and it's purely subjective, but there it is. I'm also really big on modding my games, so that's another big plus for the PC.

My major hub for modding games. I also detest the idea that console manufacturers refuse to multi platform their games, overcharging for the piece of equipment that only allows you to play very limited number of games over its lifetime. For example The price tag of HZD is close to 500 basically, because there is no other title for PS4 that I could play on it. That's... a lot to pay for one game. It's really a huge scum to rip off young people without much money savvy, experience in managing their finances long term and compulsiveness. It's just a really, really evil business model.

On pc. It's more stable. Can be modded. And it's easier to transfer saves from game to game....Unless you hate key board and mouse. I played it on PC and I do hate keyboard and mouse so I used a controller. It's the best of both worlds for me (except for the fact that I missed my big screen TV....)

PC. The fact that playing on PC gave me a ME3 mod that allowed my BroShep to survive and be reunited with Kaidan? Bonus. (This wasn't my playthrough but you get the idea. Credit for the mod goes to Mr. Fob and for the video goes to FluffyNinjaLlama.)

Console for a lot of different reasons.
1) I like controllers better than kb/m.
2) Steam pissed me off
3) Tried to mod a few games, went to shit just about every time.
4) Naughty Dog. Legit reason.
5) Just plain easier to get stuff to work. I don't really have the patience for fixing shit.
ummmm... There's probably more I can't think of right this second.

I played the OT and all of its DLC on PS3, so that's what I marked on the poll. I'm playing MEA on PC.
Since then, I bought it all again for the PC. My gaming rig is hooked up to the TV in the LR, because that's how I like to game.
I still seem to be a bit controller dependent. I probably ought to bite the bullet and git gud with m/k controls at some point.
