Was Mass Effect 2 really that Much Better than MEA?

I may have said it, but I most likely wouldn't. I would turn her over to Nexus security and let her explain why she used Initiative property for going after something for a project while endangering the life of the pathfinder. If they were to ask what punishment would be best for her. Send her to H-047C to help mine Helium-3. If that doesn't work, put her back in cyro.

Looking back, it's hilarious how much better the second game was compared to their successors, whether it's Dragon Age or Mass Effect. God, I remember hating DA2, but looking back now, damn. But I digress.

ME2 was probably my favorite Bioware game since I first played it, so I'll always agree with the notion that it's better than anything else Bioware might have churned out over the last decade, whether if it's an unpopular opinion or not. It's got a wide variety of companions, most of whom were really well-written characters. It's got an epic suicide mission that factored in your choices correctly like Bioware should've done with every other of its title, including DA:I which I heard that upgrading Skyhold doesn't matter (sorry, digressing again), or the very linear Andromeda that would end up the same way no matter what you chose earlier.

Honestly, Bioware's gotten a lot more "Telltale Games" over the last few years since ME2. I don't know why I even bother anymore.

MEA is about the least linear game BioWare has ever produced.

And since the ending differs in MEA depending on your choices throughout the game you're wrong anyway. So...?

Never underestimated the power of nostalgia/rose-tinted glasses or the Internet hate machine and its in-crowd's ability to hate on new things and think they are "hip" in doing so.

Thanks for the sensible, courteous response. I know of the slight difference you get. I just happened to forget about them because they were so minor and insignificant they might as well be the three colors you chose at the end of ME3. It's totally different from what I had described in regards to the suicide mission of ME2, let alone the different choices you get post-loyalty missions (when you had to resolve the conflict between crew members) that Andromeda PALES in comparison, so I don't know what that other guy was going on about.

And likewise to you, my friend. Hypocrisy at its best again. Please, do go on and not make a personal attack like the glorious example you are setting for everyone else. But I think it's best we just block your ass again before this turns into another locked thread.
