In single player the Vanquisher has the same weight as the Valiant, which is more than the latter has than in MP3. But what's this complaint about recoil? You mean that tiny-weeny jump after firing a shot before the crosshairs returns to the same position? I was using the gun for a couple of games yesterday night and actually had to pay attention in order to try and get what is meant by 'recoil', since I didn't even notice... I like the Valiant more than the BW or even the Vanquisher. Even without the x2.1 weakpoint modifier. I like the Inferno better though. That 'teeny jump' feels more like you're firing from the back of a moving truck on a rocky trail compared to the vanquisher, and black widow scope recoil. Sure the position resets, but until then, it is more difficult to have a grasp of where everything is between shots compared to the more controlled movement of the vanquisher because your entire world through the scope of the valiant is violently shaking. I've argued this same point in favor of the valiant over the black widow in ME3.

I'm far from being the best sniper in the world, yet I haven't had any problem scoring multiple headshots with one clip. And 'violently shaking' is really overstating it IMHO.

It is enough to induce irritation for me personally. Like motion sickness, without the sickness. Just have a hard time dealing with the scope bouncing visually after every bullet. The other problem I have with the valiant this game is it's low-ish damage. Sure, it has one extra round in the clip than the vanquisher, but it doesn't feel meaningful when a low level valiant takes an extra bullet to kill mooks compared to a vanquisher X, which means an extra bounce session

I guess the Valiant is best used on Infiltrators, or classes with a damage bonus, and in your case stability bonus. Mine is at V and it single headshots redbar enemies on Gold, and two-shots shielded ones. At least with the lvl III SR booster.
