It's evidence of bad writing. yes the entire deal with shepard dieing and coming back was bad writing. What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? I thought this was a thread about MEA and PeeBee, not ME2. So if there was bad writing in ME2, which I concur there was, that makes it ok that there was bad writing in MEA? ummmm ok.

She not only risked Ryders life but what ever squad mate you brought along. I never cared much for her to start with but from the instant she hit the escape pod button I was looking for ways to kill her. I even killed her ex lover because I knew it would upset her. There is NO way I would of taken her off that rock. dude...stop.we were going to risk it anyway. The mission was to a volcano. It was no where near as bad as you make it out to be. The fact that after it becomes clear there is NO way for the Tempest to land safely on a volcano, she lures you and the other squad mate into the escape pod under false pretense. Then without warning ejects the pod, then when questioned about what the hell she is doing and how are we suppose to get back to the Tempest, she does her normal stupid laugh and says something to the effect of "we will figure something out." This all for her own personal motives. You have no problem with that?????

I guess it was bad writing that there is a salarian playing solitaire at a game shop, and that there is a high class sushi restaurant or a place the buy ramen on the Citadel. Or that Grunt google searched earth predators, great white sharks, Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea, and dinosaurs too. Right? Humanity has been sharing it's culture and history with the Citadel since first contact.
And speaking of first contact, Peebee was alive then you know. She's over a hundred years old. And considering her personality you don't think she would have found out everything she could about the new guys? Just like she does with Jaal?

Dude. What? SHEPARD FEEL FROM SPACE. Cerberus is luck anything was left of shepard. Hell, it defies logic to even expect anything to be left. Unless your a krogan, nothing alive or dead is going to be left of you. And Liara did tell the alliance Cerberus had the corpse. She told Anderson and Hackett. And it's was not about being able to find.the location but who can get there the fastest . Hey DUDE. I will continue this if you create a thread about it in the ME trilogy section. Mostly because I want you to provide a source as to when t'soni told Anderson and Hackett that Cerberus has Shepard's body.

It's so weird to me that it's been 30 years since humanity's first contact with another space-faring species. In that time people started HAVING SEX WITH THE ALIENS! This is deemed acceptable by a large portion of humanity. There are groups that are disgusted by it, sure (Cerberus) but over all there's not a lot of pushback against it. Meanwhile, in our current civilization, we are just getting to where homosexuality is accepted by most people after CENTURIES! True, some ancient cultures were more accepting and had homosexuality in the mainstream (Rome) but since the 1500's in the West it has not been accepted. So centuries to accept sex with another human, but 30 years to accept sex with bird-looking, scaly, blue aliens.
But your big hangup on the writing is that you don't believe a young, free-spirited Asari with an interest in other cultures and history would check out pirates?!
I mean, some things are assuredly weird and less believable in Mass Effect. But PeeBee understanding and speaking pirate is not one of them.

it in the shadow broker dlc in his dossier. He was contacting cerberus before shepard was awake. Who's he? Anderson or Hackett? I did see a video log with Anderson meeting a Cerberus person on the Citadel. No idea what it was about. Nothing that says it happened before Shepard returns. Nothing that suggests that Liara told anyone especially Hackett and Anderson as you say

Yeah, all the humans and aliens talk like they were plucked right out of 2017. It wasn't THAT bad in the trilogy. But that's not even that big of a deal to me. I mean, I would have appreciated they put SOME effort into the alienness of aliens or at least tried to go the Farscape route a bit with constant human jokes the aliens don't get, and certain phrases all aliens use. And so forth. It's not just visual art style that gives a sense of otherness. Language is very important too. Certain words can become iconic even.
I actually like Peebee best of the squadmates so far. They tried to subvert the lone wolf adventurer trope a bit by making her quite compassionate and not ok with violence. Commitment issues but not Morrigan style antisocial or foul mouthed like Sera or Jack. I like that. It was... unexpected.

I'm trying to figure out why that's so different from some of the other stuff Ryder does without knowing what will happen. Jumping into gravity wells? Check. Manipulating remnant consoles? Check. Allowing SAM to stop your heart? Yep. Boarding enemy ships? Right on. Infiltrating kett strongholds? Of course. (As an aside, it's not only possible, but very natural imho to play Ryder as someone who is deeply interested in remnant technology, and thus fully supports Peebee's efforts here.)

Just curious. the only issue with this mission is a matter of control. We were going down regardless and would be in danger no matter what. Even exiting would be dangerous. Any complicate is about a matter of control being looking for more options to how to approach with the least danger. No matter how they entered the team would be in dangered.

That near every major character in the game had in that dlc. The one we're we learn grunt likes sharks. Can you post a link to that dossier? I seen them all and didn't see anything that mentioned it was Liara that told Anderson and Hackett about Shepards corpse being in the hands of Cerberus
