I disagree. Kaidan isn't the issue here. He's actually fine in Paragon or Renegade. He jokes around in the Renegade one "no I called my friend an ass. Talk about sensitive." Its just that scene fits the male Shepard better because of the voice acting on both parts. I never had an issue with this scene in any aspect when I did it with male Shepard.
Its femshep. I feel quite a bit of her voice acting in ME3 can be over acted. This is just one of several scenes that are not as good because of how Hale delivers her lines. She is mostly good, but has certain scenes where she is just bad or awkward because she tries too hard. Even in the romance scene Hale can be really creepy with Kaidan "why is it, ovvveerrrr?"

She was seducing Kaidan and responding to his initial flirt in the beginning of the scene. The scene suited the renegade line that lead their prelude to sex.
I'm not sure about Jennifer Hale's "overacting" because every time she tried to be emotional or flirty or irritated or annoyed or insulted, she always get blamed for not behaving the exact same as Meer does. Mark Meer's portrayal of his character tend to be the driest of all male Bioware VA and understandably most players play as him first.

Question. In the conversation in ME2 with Joker after Horizon, when you pick the first dialog option in the first dialogwheel, is Jane saying something, if she is in a romance with Kaidan? Is John saying something? In the english version? I have picked this dialog option with my male Shepard in German version and he only does shaking his head. Is this a mistake by the German Version?

It doesn't sound seductive at all though. It sounds more scary than anything.
And I'm not sure what you are on about. I said Hale is mostly good. There are scene where she sounds bad just like Meer sounds beyond bored. But even he is mostly good as well. His "dry" delivery is more understated and it fits many scenes very nicely. And he does several scenes far better than Hale just like she does scenes far better than him. They both have their strengths and weaknesses and I like that they have different takes on the role.
Also, not that it matters, but I played Femshep first and I love femshep (especially my most recent one). But I still prefer Meer's acting. Hale sounds bored in ME2 and trys way too hard in ME3. Loved her in ME1 the most. But as I said, she is still very good overall.

I don't really treat both Shepard as identical person. I don't expect Meer to act identically like Hale or vice versa. FemShep and BroShep each have their own unique relationship with Kaidan regardless of circumstance and depending on their performances. I don't see why FemShep can't playfully tease her longterm boyfriend simply because BroShep was being consistently neutral stoic. FemShep do have several lines about romanced Kaidan with Joker. Mostly neutral or just anger. I don't play modded BroShep/Kaidan romance so I can't say anything much.

I didn't say she can't tease him. Just that the teasing sounds bad. Besides, I'm not even talking about the romance angle. I am talking about femshep/Kaidan being friends. The scene doesn't work as well as a broshep being his friend. That was my original point. Meer's delivery is more laid back and it works for that scene well.

Or make some comment to Joker? I haven't played ME2 in ages. I don't know how you could fix it. Maybe use the Genesis? But doesn't that video just play the choices back to you when you import? Idk, sorry. I'm sure there is some little thing you can do on the PC, move some check marks around, but I don't know anything about that.

ME2 means to put my Shepard (in Romance with Kaidan in ME1) in a Romance with Jack. But I did not want to do that. Shepard should be loyal to Kaidan no matter Horizon. In the dialog with Joker and Kelly he was not angry about Kaidan.
With Jack he has talked alot but said No, when Jack has asked Shepard if he wants a romance with her but came back to her and was still friendly.
Maybe I can clean up the Save game after Suicide Mission with the Savegame Editor before I import that savegame to ME3?
edit: Good news: ME3 does not realized Shepard had a romance in ME2 and has imported Kaidan romance in ME1 and ME2
Not so good: I have not Arrivale DLC on Origin but I have not found in Gibbeds Editor an option to make a check in ME2 plot for DLCs. How I can add to the save game the DLC decisions? Without destroying the Batarian portal the dealing makes less sense that Shepard is arrested. And even after that event it makes no sense, except to have a reason to start on earth.

Makes sense.
Without Arrival, Sheps is arrested for working with Cerberus. Is a fucking terrorist organization, simple as that.
I hate Arival, I skip this dlc almost always.

Those 3 are very boring, but I feel like my ocd makes me go through them each time. Oddly enough I really like Project overlord though-but the driving parts suck. Still, I have to save David.

I agree with Omega. Omega is a very boring DLC and Aria is a terrible character.
But I never got the hate for Arrival. I feel it is kind of necessary for Shepard to be taking care of that rather than random Alliance soldiers. It is tedious in parts, but I'm alright with it overall. I would only skip LoTSB because I hate Liara. The DLC itself is pretty cool.

Arrival is one of the best dlc's there is. It has one of the best scenes in the trilogy featuring the conversation between Harbinger, ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL, and Shepard. It would have been a good opportunity to have A/K in the dlc.

Ah, that would make it easier. Layer came with my copy of ME2 sadly, and the others I got cause I had hoped they would be fun. I don't regret trying them really, but after so many runs they have lost their charm. Unlike Kaidan, he just keeps getting hotter it seems like. :amirite:

I like to do this before Kaidan rejoins the Normandy since, when I do Leviathan, Kaidan makes it clear that I'm not to leave him behind again. Hate to go back on my word (though I often leave him to go to Thessia because I like the Javik stuff). Arrival, to me, ought to have been a part of the main gain rather than a DLC. I think it works best post-SM since you get to have Hackett acknowledge that the Normandy is no longer a Cerberus ship. That said, he ought to have mentioned this to Kaidan and trusted a major under his command to keep quiet about it.

I remember him say he would never doubt you again but he says that regardless of romance or not. And yeah, I feel like you have to take Javik on Thessia. Wish you could leave Liara behind though. It should have been part of the main game. Just like Javik should have been part of the main game in ME3. Both Arrival and Javik are pretty important. Its a shame ME3 barely acknowledges Arrival. You would think it would be a bigger deal. And yeah, I do it after the suicide mission also. I do like that the scene and some dialogue changes based on what has been done. Like Harbinger will show up after suicide mission and that 4 legged collector shows up if you do it before. Or Hackett will say something different in the same situation. Also, if Karen dies, she doesn't show up either.

At the end of the Leviathan mission, on the shuttle, Kaidan says "never do that again" (or something to that effect). I read it to mean that Shepard should never go where Kaidan can't follow. Maybe that's just a personal interpretation but it seems to fit. I doubt Kaidan was trying to say "never go underwater again".

One thing I always love when I replay the trilogy is how well Shepard and Kaidan mesh in combat. Vanguard plus Sentinel makes a third squadmate unnecessary.

Kaidan is so versatile that he works with any class (in both ME1 and ME3) It doesn't matter which one. If you are both Sentinels, you are even stronger I feel. Sadly, I don't think Ash meshes with certain classes as well. I played an Adept and your powers don't really compliment each other well.
