shit, i want to finish this romance with my femshep, i was enjoying all the modified dialogues from carry on my imported saves before i lost them.

i have to start again soon, but wont be a problem as i have an insane itch left for this romance, as i like it a lot.

I read a fanfic where Kaidan keeps that apartment while Shepard is "dead" after the Collectors blow up the SR1.

Honestly, I would have preferred it if the Citadel DLC took place at Inta'sei over Anderson's old apartment.  However, not everyone will have played Pinnacle, let alone completed it (can be tedious) so that makes it more difficult to use.

Hello guys, I am new here. I absolutely love Kaidan so freaking much. He is one of the most interesting characters in the game. I love both Mshep and Fshep romances with Kaidan because it seems more natural than other love interests in my opinion.

I never understood why some people find Kaidan so boring. It really amazes me tbh. Kinda like how people hate Ashley so much because she's "racist". It just doesn't make any sense to me. Kaidan is a man i would love to spend the rest of my life with. I mean the guy is just so damn hot and romantic and just an overall wonderful person to be with.

Usually I don't care for gay romances but MShep/Kaidan romance to me is the best in the whole Mass effect series.

I haven't played the game yet but I have been watching some no commentary and lets play series on mass effect trilogy and I became a huge fan of Mass Effect since.

Kaidan is only a human male, not some awesome Alien bro so he automatically has points against him, it's just how it works in the BioWare Fandom heh.



Even though I think he picked up some popularity in ME3, compared to ME1/2.

Human male = +points for me. 

I love the humans as well .. all of them, even Jacob. None of them as much as Kaidan though, he is the best. I don't think it's a secret that Human companions (male more so than females) get a lot of hate in the BioWare fandom. It's just how it is /shrug

I don't think it's as bad in the Dragon Age fandom.


I just realized that in order for a human male squadmate to be considered "badass" he has to be a grizzled, grumpy mercenary aka Zaeed (which I also adore btw). I mean, in my opinion killing a Turian without a weapon, but a biotic kick to the face is pretty badass.

I only have Genesis on the 360 so I can't use the editor thing to have him alive.  That would be nice if I could.  But, I'm sure you're right that it's strange to have them both filling the same role.  Like, how does that work on Mars? Which one comes?

Today is ME2's birthday. Even though I just got my m!shep into ME3 I should probably do another run soon

I am still sort of new to the Bioware fandoms so I don't know all the nuances of the fanbase. But I definitely noticed this one. I don't get it still myself. Why are they hated for being human males? Garrus is actually one of the most "human" characters in the series. Outside of appearance, there is almost nothing alien about him at all. And it gets worse the more you get into the series. He has a ton of human characteristics. Also, its funny the human females (outside of Ash) don't get as much flak. Jack/Miranda both have annoying characteristics to them as well. 

I think Kaidan is one of those guys that doesn't need to act dangerous to actually BE dangerous. And those kinds of people are the most dangerous types. And it shows. The guy is lethal in combat in ME1 and ME3. Its just that Kaidan doesn't really have that bro alpha male personality and he's not constantly making smart remarks. As unpopular of an opinion as this is, I think Kaidan is best bro and only second to Wrex as best character in the series.

Though, I wish I could dump Liara on Virmire and save Ash and Kaidan. Both are great characters to me. Best romance and best bro respectively as far as I'm concerned. 

Wouldn't that have been great. I remember that in ME3 you were supposed to be able to choose between VS and Liara's life on Thessia, before the script leaked. I would have loved that!

I guess you’re talking about the VS working with Kai Leng? Idk, I guess it depends on how it would have been introduced. Was the script the final draft? I honestly don’t remember too much about it, except for VS working with Kai Leng and the Thessia choice.
