Oh that one. yes, it's definitely a missile silo. There're three because I saw silo three on the wall and there's the computer voice when the hatch to the silo was opened. There's no way a cult could gain control unless the silos were defunct so I'd say there were no missiles in there. Mr crazy would have gotten them from elsewhere. Of course he would have gotten nukes from another place. But nothing would stop them from storing the nukes there. And just so it happens, that in the ending sequence, three nukes detonate in total. A nuclear missile costs at least a hundred million, mr crazy wouldn't have the money to buy one, least of all three. He could try to build it but no one can buy the needed amount of uranium without lighting up red bells. So did he steal them? How is it possible to steal without the theft being discovered? Or is his crazy subversive BS so fantastic that those in charge of the warheads happily handed them over to him secretly?
Can it be said for certain what he set off were nuclear warheads? What if they weren't?

And what else could they be? I've never seen any other type of explosion that creates a mushroom cloud like that.

Well, I can think of groups who will willingly supply him the missiles if they know he's going to happily set them off in his homeland. Foreign radical groups that took over other countries.

Has the enemy spawn rate and AI been patched by any chance? First Farcry game I'm interested in because of the setting and co-op. But not sure I'll enjoy it enough for the current price tag. And it's always smarter to wait for bug patching. But I'm itching for a new game to tear me away from FO4 settlement madness. Ugh.

Has the enemy spawn rate and AI been patched by any chance? The enemy spawn rate is plot dependent and the AI seems fine to me, what concerns did you have about those things as they stand currently?

I am astounded how people breeze thru games. For me, the best part of this game is roaming the countryside so I suppose that is why I do all the sidequest I can find.
Never thought I would hang my hat at Ubisoft but after playing ACO and liking it gave Far Cry 5 a try which I am not sorry about. Seems I'm 16 hours in and 47% story progress, basically halfway.

The reason that i'm making this post is because of a glitch yesterday with Boomer i saved him but he just kept on barking and barking and barking ... in his cage. There was just no way that i could pet him or talk to him so i thought i hit him with a molotov cocktail and that fixed the problem ... sorry Boomer. Anyone else with this glitch ?

I watched a video review where a lot of NPC dialogue got interrrupted by enemies attacking. They said it happens a lot. This sounds pretty annoying. So I was hoping this was something that might get fixed. What I saw of the enemy AI looked kins of broken. But maybe those were just examples that don't happen all the time. I'm going to get the game after a price cut for sure. By then some of the biggest bugs like the postgame not triggering correctly should be fixed.

I watched a video review where a lot of NPC dialogue got interrrupted by enemies attacking. It happens sometimes, cultists and animals. But the NPC will always continue their conversation afterwards if interrupted (unless killed or eaten).

I noticed the lack of destructibles right away, which is a bummer. They definitely took a shortcut here.

Im particularly pissed how they took the knife kills away. There was nothing better then jumping on top of an enemy and shoving a blade down his shoulder.

This is... pretty sad honestly. Am I the only person who finds this level of realistic injury disturbing...? The last thing I want from a videogame is realistic limb damage, lots of screaming and the like. I'm not a closet psychopath. I don't enjoy this shit. I agree that FC2 had better destructibles apparently but HELL NO to those injuries. Also weapons breaking like that all the time is SILLY and NOT realistic. It's annyoing. Too much "realism" is tiresome imo. I still think I'm so not the target audience of these games. Either of them. Like the burning animals challenge. WTF is wrong with people?! I'm not doing this. That's sick. I still mourn those sheep I accidentally set on fire in Witcher 3... I know it's just a game but I have zero interest in torturing and maiming people and animals even when they aren't real.

Well you're still WAY! to fast for me i wasn't sure yesterday so i had to check but i'm also at about 16 hours in but i'm still at a measly 3%. It will probably take me 100+ hours to finish this game.

In ACO you go from one child sacrifice to the next and in FC5 only nature is sane. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find games that let you simply escape realities uglyness. The West is becoming inhumain (stricktly my opinion) and games with it. Don't buy lootboxes, no problem you can earn "specialities" thru setting wildlife on fire instead. But credit where it is due, Ubisoft are masters at conditioning masses and staying uner the radar "for the time being" in the whole lootbox affair. It is either adapt or playing the same games over and over. I am aware but try to enjoy what I can within what is offered and frequently get confronted with my own "technological" addictions and consequences thereoff and how far I am willing to go to obtain something. I do not deny that these types of produced games give me "the keep me on my toes" excuse in order to play. Sadly, the games that Larian and Obsidian produce does not appeal to me.

I personally don't mind grim dark stories. A game with a story that is way too jolly or too happy would probally bore me. That being said, western gaming is very much in decline. With the combination of lack of creativity, corporatism and agenda pushing ideologies, western gaming has become too tainted and saturated. I mean, I took a look at this first semester of 2018, and look at the major game releases: Dragon ball fighter Z, Monster hunter world, Shadow of the colossus remake, kingdom come deliverance, Devilç may cry HD collection, Assassins creed rogue remastered, Far cry 5, Yakuza 6, God of war, Dark souls remastered, Detroit become human and vampyr. From all these games, only Far cry 5, god of war, Detroit and vampyr are the major western games being released. The rest are either japanese games or remakes. I'm the only one that is worried by this? We just... don't see anything good coming from western gaming anymore. This is a long video, but this guy makes some pretty interesting commentary

We just... don't see anything good coming from western gaming anymore. A bit of an exaggeration I think, but I can understand where the overall sentiment is coming from. On one hand you have saturation, and on the other hand you have the bigger publishers "streamlining" and reaching for "wider appeal" as much as possible, which usually results in a lot of games which feel similar and/or mediocre. Is it? Only 4 major games being released in the first half of the year, the first one recieved relatively mixed reviews, and the other three (especially detroit and Vampyr) are still in question if they will be any good. You think that's an exaggeration?
