I wonder will it be male or female... Well, hopefully a lot more diverse than this. Maybe one that can change their sex depending on need. The male/female binary is getting a little played out in a game where there's supposed to be new and interesting alien species in every game. While i enjoyed what was provided in the trilogy, it tended to make the different species more acceptable than alien. Since we're talking about potential LIs, it's really hard to make an alien both "truly alien" and suitable for romace both in logical (i.e. banging a krogan is dangerous for health of a human being) and psychological way. |

Of all the griping that occasionally surrounds DAI, i don't recall the romance with the Seeker being one of them (i've read one but i consider it an outlier). So, if they're able to not botch up a semi-nude scene with an authority figure, it's likely they can do the same with non-human/human romance scenes too. But we'll have to see (the reactions), won't we.  |

Squadmate number is one of the few things that can actually change pretty late in developement (in either direction). Tali came in late in ME3 and Javik was removed from base game. So while I don't take the leaked survey for granted on that partifuclar info, I also don't expect they changed their mind and decided to have 12 squadmates suddenly, or just 3. Around 7 IS what we will probably get. We got these so far:
1. Human lead female/main waifu - confirmed
2. Human lead male/main husbando - confirmed
3. Krogan Drack - leaked survey
4. Asari (Cora?) - very likely but there's a small chance she may just be a crew-member
5. At least 1 Andromeda-native (as confirmed in Mac Walters' tweet about the squad including new NEW species)
That leaves 2 spots. We saw a Salarian on board the Tempest in E3 reel, but he could be just a crew member
