Common consensus amongst people on the internet and not this forum is that MEA should have never existed. Let's be honest, this game isn't mass Effect and yet it's called mass Effect which consequently dampens and ruins the franchise with its poor writing, retcons and themes.
We likely won't ever get a new mass Effect because of how badly Bioware botched this one. I personally feel that this game is the black sheep of the franchise.

Exactly it probably shouldn't have been released in the state it was I agree but as for not being released at all then no. As I think the ideas are good and work really well for the most part it's only the technical issues and bugs that for me that hold it back atm not so much the ideas and the game itself. Because for me the story and general gameplay and all that is just fine. It's moer it had a lot of bugs that shouldn't have been there on release some of them I would argue are still there but hopefully they'll disappear eventually. |
