Neither of those prove this dialogue you assert between Bioware and EA and your statement makes the huge assumption that nobody from EA looked at the game and approved it.

That does not mean anything; Ea also said the same thing for ME 3, that they were delaying it to make a better game for 6 months. It does not change the fact that bioware wanted more time to make a palaven mission but could not due to the deadline, if they had the time they wanted; they would have delayed it even further. Ea saying that they would delay the game to make it better until it is ready does not meaning anything. It would not be the first game that they release unfinished while the developer is asking for more time to properly finish it. EA are corporate shills who rush out lots of games too early to make quick money, no doubt about that. But in this case, they are not the only party to blame. Bioware didn't ask for more time to finish the game - they were offered more time, and refused it. 5 months may not seem like much, but taking the post-launch patches into consideration, it could have looked so much better at launch than it did.

And how can you prove that EA really offered Bioware more time, that they had the opportunity? these links are just EA's words and it does not have any value. EA also said that they were sorry for sim city 2013, that they would not do this again, that it was really a mistake, well what happens the same year? Oh yeah battlefield 4 happens, it was broken at launch. But yeah, EA really said that they were really sorry for the releases that happen earlier that year… EA words are so trustworthy… So the sources you are bringing me does not mean anything, for the same reason I don’t believe Microsoft when they tell anything about their xbox brand, they said that the xbox one could not remove the drm from their new console : www.dualshockers.com/major-nelson-rebrands-himself-as-switch-flipper-after-xbox-one-drm-about-face/Well we all knew how it ended; they just removed it with a patch after too much backlash. So I don’t see why I should trust what EA says, especially with their history of releasing games when they developer asks for more time…

Okay, well, if an official statement from EA's chief financial officer won't convince you, I suppose that nothing will. The game obviously needed more time. EA was willing to give it. Considering the game's launch state, it's safe to assume that Bioware probably didn't take advantage of that.

It's a lot safer to assume that EA checked out the game (since EA and Bioware are the same thing) and thought it was okay to release. You really have no evidence to back up your claims.

hah. That's just pot stirring right there and a shitty attempt at getting upvotes from a viewership that had long before made up their minds regarding ME:A. If nothing else he knows his audience.

Sinclair Networks asked on March 4th that the game be delayed until June 20th and was denied. Why were they denied? Do you think BioWare saw the game and said "yep, ready!" or that EA had that game pegged for their empty Q4 fiscal year and said "F*ck it"? Considering Sinclair was already started working on the Character Creator patch on March 20th, the one that was announced on April 4th on "The Journey Ahead" blog, the day before the game was actually released, tells me that June 2017 was what was requested by BioWare and ultimately denied by the publisher. Again, speculation but it makes sense in that BioWare has more to lose in terms of reputation than EA if the game is released 80% finished. If the 11 day window from March 21st through March 31st gives EA the unit and revenue push they need to meet the year end investor numbers, why would they care if remainder of the game's life cycle is a flaming wreckage as they have a huge amount of releases upcoming in the next financial year.

Okay, well, if an official statement from EA's chief financial officer won't convince you, I suppose that nothing will. No, it doesn't convince me. The release at the end of the fiscal year is talking much louder than any company statement. They wanted to book the revenue in 2016. For a lot of reasons. Not least of all, I assume, the bonusses tied to gaining a certain amount of sales.

I care more about the quality of the patch more so than if it will arrive in the given timeframe, which has only recently been exceeded by what, a day? It happens. Also, this guy is becoming ridiculous.

They are probably trying, but there is so much you can do after you release a game in the state of Andromeda's. Fixing most of its problems are either not possible or not worth it. That's my impression as well. Sucks.

Bandwagon cunts who want to see the world burn care. And they will keep caring about it until the end of the world. Memes never die. Memes are like actors. Some just keep getting work for years to come, while others get bloated or drugged up and never come back.

Either way, the customer was the last priority. If that's the case, then I hope those bonuses were worth all the hate and meme trains they got in return. If you ask me, if that was really the case, then BioWare is indeed dead inside. We all would be surprised how little that means for a shareholder company. First, there's probably a large amount of people not giving a shit one way or the other. Secondly, there's quite a number of hardcore fans, who go by see no evil, hear no evil. And third, that's just one of the franchises sold by EA. They fork out and obviously sell a lot of games on a yearly basis. Just a little bit polished and a select few features added. I don't think that any shitstorm could get large enough to really hurt them and to really make them reconsider their business model. They've proven in the past that if any studio doesn't rake in a sufficient amount of revenue, they simply close them down, no questions asked. Also, as opposed to all the memes and the hate, this game never was a train wreck. It was playable, provided for a decent experience and is still patched. So the majority of players, me included, while probably not being overly excited with the result, got their return on investment.

Everyone agrees that this game should've been delayed but now people want to see them fucking up again by rushing another patch instead of taking their time with it.
But what makes me a little salty is that they're wasting time making a new romance... They should get rid of that shit in their next game.

There's far more important things to fix in this game but they're wasting time and resources with romances. They're probably adding Jaal to the list of Male romances too.

If you pretend a game studio is like a car factory for a minute; The same guys tinkering with the engine won't be the guys tweaking the electronics system, and the guys doing the paint job won't be working on engine issues...
Adding new stuff at the same stuff as fixing old doesn't mean they're pulling resources from one area and putting it elsewhere.

It's one of the select few Bioware USPs left. If it wasn't for companion interactions, banters and romances, I wouldn't even bother with their games anymore, since there are other companies delivering more convincingly, less bugged and more moddable on every other aspect of their games.
