Honestly anyone expecting them to release info/ a patch on sunday is being...well frankly a little silly. Its more like an estimate. We should hear something sometime this week maybe get a patch and honestly i think all signs point to them about to make a major announcement on several different things, new DLC, new patch info, etc. When precisely we get this news is one thing, but the signs are there.

Adding new stuff at the same stuff as fixing old doesn't mean they're pulling resources from one area and putting it elsewhere. I never said that. I said that what could be delaying this patch is the romance stuff which sounds like it would be a lot of work. They're gonna build a pack of fixes and new stuff before they give us the patch. If the romance stuff is not done yet all of the things that are done would have to wait before they give us everything together. I think that making such a big deal about the number of polygons you can fuck in a video game is a little stupid but that's not the point i'm trying to make here.

Bioware is in shambles tbh... Not respecting the consumer, delivering unfinished games, can't even provide updates regarding patches which they promised... Also, working on a multiplayer only game with Dylan, trying to cash on the destiny and overwatch market (aren't they a story driven rpg company?)... Andromeda was the first Bioware game that had zero lasting impact for me, I beat it and that was it.

Do people really have nothing better to do than make videos like this? I don't get it. People who are surprised by a missed deadline (or think it shows a lack of respect) clearly have never worked in the real world. Bioware made this game knowing full well that it would get it's buggy arse smacked by the media, so life goes on and the universe unfolds as it should. An unknown leading an unknown. For if this is the way it should be The universe SHOULD turn in its grave. Bioware patches come out on Thursdays, historically. I'd expect something on the 8th First statement that makes any sense.

So you want BioWare to rush a patch to fix the problems in the game that were caused by rushing for the release date instead of delaying the game to make sure the game works. Didn't the internet learn anything? The longer they wait the less likely a new patch will happen... People aren't buying the game anymore, there's no incentive.

Everyone will probably agree, that if MEA will be released 3-4 months later, a half or even more than a half of those angry topics will never happen, and we will be not worried about ME series future. There is only one thing I don't understand - people involved knew that MEA IS NOT READY to be released, they knew that in many areas there is only half-job done, but still someone from BW agree to release unpolished and unfinished game. The good thing is, that modders now got the tools to change a lot things in MEA, and as we know modding community can do miracles - DA1, DA2, ME trilogy, Skyrim and many, many more. Keep the spirit alive boys and girls.

They've already released a patch prior to releasing the one about which polygons you can fuck in a video game. If they keep delaying it to balance multiplayer or whatever they'll be breaking guarantees they saw fit to make. I'm sure some people would be perfectly fine with this but I don't really care about those people. Bioware has prioritized fixing core game issues (and multiplayer) before working on polygon fucking and they will most likely return to it after they've done what they promised but right now, they're doing polygon fucking.

Everyone agrees that this game should've been delayed but now people want to see them fucking up again by rushing another patch instead of taking their time with it. But what makes me a little salty is that they're wasting time making a new romance... They should get rid of that shit in their next game. We don't know if they are making a new romance. All Bioware has said so far is that the patch will improve the m/m romances. For all we know that just means just the ones already in the game. I'd say the latter is more likely, considering that the current options are rather scant on content as it is. It wouldn't make sense to add an entirely new one, and really, where would this character come from? Would it be a free DLC character? Or just cherry pick whatever NPC is out there and just randomly add romance? On second though. They should. With Dutch. It'd be slightly hilarious.

Yeah, Yong's mentioned that english isn't his first language as he grew up in Venezuela and other Latin American countries. He's learned it fairly formally which explains his enunciation. As far as the patch though, Bioware never gave a deadline or a specific date. They said OVER THE NEXT TWO MONTHS. Not within two months, not in exactly two months. OVER THE NEXT. TWO. Calm down, people. They not only have to do the work to tweak the game but also test it and submit it for finalization. I'm now reminded of people bitching at my job about how it takes X time for a custom made item to be created and shipped.

Wasn't there a push to have the game's release delayed a bit longer around the beginning of June or so? I suspect if they thought some of the more notable fixes could be added before that, this wouldn't have been the case.

One should keep in mind that the patches are mostly being done by a 3rd party, Sinclair Networks, not Bioware. That being said, their communication with the public has been absolutely horrible.

I might be unlucky or something, because out of the three games I am interested in hearing info on, by 3 different publishers/developers, I get exactly the same amount of communication. Zilch. Bio, Paradox, and CDPR, they all the same to me. No info. Just speculation. So, it's gonna be ready when it's ready, whatever it is.

Hell dude, this slow moving train wreck just gets better by the day. I've long since been in the "move along little doggy" camp when it comes to other games. But like a slow moving train wreck, I'm unable to rip my eyes away from it.
I just can't wait for the tell all whistle blower to come out swinging.
Too bad it won't have any parking lots, lamborghinis and dirt bikes, or drug addictions. Or hell, possibly it will.

I can't find them anywhere. All I'm finding is a TV conglomerate. Wow. So, BioWare is leaving Frostbite in someone else's hands? (SIGH) Edit: I found them. They're in Austria. They've done work for a lot of publishers so I guess they're reliable.

By the time they actually fixed the eyes all the damage had already been done. It's that easy, really. End of the fiscal year. The game had to be out by then to book the revenue for 2016. We're talking about shareholder business here and not a labor of love.
