What does this mean? I know what the shield gate is but what is "shield gate amount" and how does it differ from just shields.

Some good, some why?????? They didn't happen to mention the amount of melee nerf to the jug-shield. Makes me wonder what the max melee damage was before and after this patch goes live when considering a character optimized for melee with the jug-shield. I really don't understand the thought process of nerfing the melee bonus. They are saying because we use it they nerfed it? I mainly use it for a shield bonus. If they checked I haven't melee'd more than 1 thing a match in quite a while but I use the jug shield a lot.
I also find it funny they already buffed the S weapons. Didn't they play test these before putting them in game? Yes that's rhetorical. The viper S may be pushing in on the valiant(which needs a buff as well) territory.

Some, but I would like my vanguard melee build back, please. Also, that shieldgate buff completely negates single shot snipers? Overall though, the good outweighs the bad by a good margin imo!

I am dead serious. I would bet they have a goal for how many APs they are selling. They they examine APs in relation to credits being earned. And that ratio is carefully monitored.

I seldom die on gold, even on weakened assault team, & when I do die, its mostly due to them spawning behind me. The only time I see Pugs die is when they're being stupid or they have enemies spawning behind them.
I highly doubt that 10% will make a huge difference in the end, its not gonna turn Raiders into Collector Captains. Besides MEA Gold is really easy compared to ME3 Gold.

Overload Increased the chaining damage when fully-charged from 100 to 300. Rank 6: Maximum Charge now grants +30% to all Overload damage, not just chain damage.
overload chain does full damage on top of AOE CC ?! They must really want to incentives using the charged overload ..

It's nice, I guess. It's hard to get excited when there's nothing about off host headshots though. I'm guessing it means on Gold, once you've depleted their shields you've got to do 950 damage before you can damage their health. That would explain why sniper rifles can somewhat bypass shield gate with a headshot (especially with today's +200% headshot damage bonus APEX mission) but melee for example can't.

I'm kind of fine with it if it means they're all decent. Katana needs some love, but Avenger getting a higher damage per shot than Revenant? Daaaaayum.

Wonder what their fraud scheme says about people not falling for their ways of frustrating the remaining playerbase.
