I created mine and he came out resembling a very pale John Leguizamo. At least for the first two games.

I feel like a weirdo for playing Sheploo. I can see how playing as a Dutch underwear model might have that effect.

I have nothing against Kaidan, I'm sad that you can't have the Ash/Kai double act for all three games, I'm not sure who I'd sacrifice instead, although the choice would be nice. Having to lose Wrex in a heroic last stand would have been better than the option of shooting him/getting him shot . I'm sure somebody could be found to stand in for Liara in ME3... maybe you could pick up Traynor on Mars, that'll work.

Unpopular opinions? 1) Sheploo is my canon Shep. Like the look, love the voice. 2) Ash's romance is better than Garrus', even if there does seem to be less of it. Garrus gets points for making FemShep do the tango, but Ash gets ManShep reciting poetry.
Too bad Ashley is terrible at reciting poetry. I click through her lines whenever they come up because they're just too cringy.
I find her choice of romantic poetry a little bizarre, that's true. Let's pick a poem where the title character, the one i'm comparing the guy I fancy to, is dead! 10/10 for foreshadowing, 2/10 for romance. My Shep's thinking "Next time Williams, just compare me to a summer's day and be done with it!" (sorry for multiposting, it was an afterthought)

Some intrepid players found out that there was going to be a third option for Virmire. There is dialogue buried that mentions Virmire and something about "I can't believe what you pulled off." In short, it looked like the devs had considered having both Ash and Kaidan around after Virmire, but it got scrapped before it fully came to fruition. Here's another one for me: I think both Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer did excellent jobs as Shepard. Jennifer's more emotive, Mark's more dry and stoic. Some lines Jennifer does better than Mark, and vice versa. I'm glad I've finaly given a Sheploo a ME session. It's been worth it and every bit as fun as playing a FemShep is for me. When it comes to the voice acting style differences, it's a trend that I've noticed in other games as well. One of my favorites is Saints Row 3 and SR4. Troy Baker is Male Voice #1 for the PC, and he's a lot more direct and dry with his humor. Laura Bailey is Female Voice #1 and she tends to be more emotive and sarcastic. I would enjoy seeing the reverse sometimes. /offtopic

When Brooks says "you're all legends", I wanted my Shepard to say, there are others as well. The current crew on the Normandy. The crew and squadmates who helped defeat the collectors. The crew who survived after the SR1 was destroyed and the ones who died as well. All those folks are legends. Not just the ones around the table.

It's such a stupid line that I just pick the Renegade option and be a dick. The ME1 favoritism was so annoying in the main game.. but it's worse that they persist even in that DLC.

That's why I've posted a few times that ME3 is really ME1 Part 2 On one hand, I think Mac Walters meant well. At least he came up with the idea of a party and made the Foundation comics. I think he cares about all the characters. But Weekes wrote the Citadel quest itself. It's just another reason for me to dislike him. He had a responsibility to carry the ME2 characters given to him, but I think he only cared about Mordin and ME1 stuff.

Now the real question is, who was it that pushed for the universe to become more humanized as the series went on? It really grinds my gears when aliens like the Hanar and Elcor were turned into cheap joke races, despite being two of the most 'alien' Citadel species in the setting. Or when the Rachni were ignored entirely, seemingly only added into ME 3 as an afterthought, and the Geth going from an 'alien' synthetic hive mind to Pinocchio bots. Etc. The person that green lit those decisions should be fired immediately and replaced with Chris L'Etoile as quickly as possible.

As well as Brian Kindregan. Combined, this is Legion, Thane, Ash, Jack, Samara, Morinth/Ardak Yakshi, Grunt, Rachni, and Okeer/all of Tuchanka from ME2. See a pattern here? None of this was treated well.. Not even Ash, who had a big enough part in ME3. edit: L'Etoile also wrote EDI.. but I don't mind her direction. It's just that Legion didn't need to be that way as well.

I liked the fact that in ME1, shields did not help against certain atacks

The Mako received a lot of misplaced hate, when it was the bland copy and paste UNC worlds that were the main culprit. The mako itself controlled fine(at least on PC it did).

It would not of been hard to have both in the trilogy. If the player romances one, the other would be the one not seen on Horizon in ME2 and would be the one that Shepard faces when confronting them while protecting the council leaving the other one to be on the Normandy for the first half of ME3 instead of being in the hospital

Once ME1 became available on the ps3, I liked the Mako since using a controller made it easier to control. Looking forward to it in Andromeda It was nice using lift against the baddies even when they had shields As do I
