You know, I'm actually not sure...I know that there's an emphasis on the sniping rifle being the bread and butter of that class. So it seems to be an uncommon preference to me. It's kind of hard to think of an opinion that doesn't have passionate fans agreeing.

How about this as a replacement: I liked the Jacob romance (just not the cheating).

I never used to like the Jacob romance...but the prize.

To this day, I sometimes comment a statement about a risky or dislikeable action with "....but the priize", making people look at me strangely as I have a giggling fit.

Soldier isn't boring.

Ashley's attitude in ME1 is understandable, even if I don't agree with her.

Samara is one of the only asari in the series that I don't want to throw out of an airlock.

I like the bug in ME2 where Conrad thinks you shot him even if you didn't. I've fixed it with gibbed on the PC version before, but it's funnier this way.

Salarians would have made a more interesting antagonistic aliens towards humans than batarians. I genuinely like the race and all, but they sure are gigantic meddlers. From big stuff like the krogan and the yagh, to little things like launching a small ice comet at a world with no water to kick to start terraforming, those guys are constantly up to something.  Even their appearance would have been fitting, since they are based upon the myths about "Grey" aliens.

In ME2, I hate lugging heavy weapon on Shepard's back. I'm modding the game with unequip option next time...

Since the game is about having options, why not have them for the endings

For destroy, I have Shepard calls for a shuttle. As it picks up her/him up, Shepard shoots the tube.
For control, have the edibot control the reapers
With the green, throw a dead body in the beam. Would an animal work? Or better yet. Shepard adds a few drops of blood instead of the whole body

The mandatory turret sections are annoying, and seem really out of place in a proper Mass Effect game. Or at least they would if ME3 was a proper Mass Effect game.

James is a terrible character, for the same reasons above. He would work in something else, maybe, but he just didn't fit the tone, and all those lines he had were awful. The "fish in a barrel" lines are so cringy and weird-sounding. Seriously, who the fuck invited Big Mclargehuge into a sci-fi RPG?
