The ending really made me mad [Spoilers]

And yet EA is very tight lipped about the financial success for MEA. Remember how two months after DAI released EA was talking about how it broke records and was the fastest selling Bioware game? Well it has been 3 months since MEA's release and yet EA has not said anything about MEA. Hell, at their recent earnings call MEA was surprisingly absent from discussion. 

All fingers point to MEA not being a financial flop, but probably not living up to EA's predictions for what they wanted. Also unlike the original 3 games which was a planned trilogy, MEA was always seen as a "pilot" type game where they test the waters to see if this can become something bigger.
