I might buy the game when it's discounted at bargain bin price, maybe. I like the ME Universe, but MEA just does not interest me.

WAS MEA WORTH THE PRICE YOU PAID? For the same price that would have got me about maybe eight/ten hours of entertainment at the movie theater, I got over three hundred so far from the game. So yes, it was worth the price. I see this argument a lot, however often enough when i watch a film i don't like every single minute of it, so i may stay just to watch the end, but i am not really enjoying it much. In the same way i have bought DLCs for games that i thought were interesting, then proceeded to barely play the DLC because i didn't like it much - didn't really get my money's worth out of them. I agree that videogames like MEA have the potential of being great entertainment products in the price/time ratio. However, if you don't enjoy the game you aren't likely to get that many hours invested. I have done 2 MEA playthroughs and can't be bothered to do another one, if i did 5 playthroughs then the game would be better? It would be the same, just me forcing myself to play it again to make me less hurt about the money i spent.

I have only done one playthrough, but I don't have the desire to play through it again. I definitely got my money's worth (over 100+ hours) but the journey wasn't as interesting or invigorating as ME2 or 3 and just felt uninspired overall. I can play those games multiple times and enjoy the experience and the journey. With Andromeda I was just going through the motions with it and the story was just lacking for me...the Kett was uninspired and they way they treated the Angarians was similar in the way the Reapers was treating other aliens species in the MW, but just on a more watered-down, less interesting level.
The game has high productions values though....I've stated a million times the game has stunning visuals, but the game should not have been released in the manner that it was. But eh, this thread isn't about that and even with the glitches, story and animation issues, Andromeda is still worth the price.

I enjoyed the game, otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten so many hours of enjoyment out of it. That goes without saying.

Definitely worth what I paid. It was a disappointment in that it didn't bowl me over like the OT or the DA series so far because I loved all of those games, ALL of them, ME1, ME2, ME3 (with a MOD to change the ending where Shepard is saved,) DAO DA2 DAI. LOVED them. So yea, a bit disappointed that his game didn't have me totally into my character in this story, but it wasn't a bad game. I liked the game. It just wasnt up to the previous love the aforementioned games instilled in me.

The way i think about it is if i use the value of money with the tier rating you get
Tier 1:59.99 + Tier 2: 49.99-59.99 Etc.
Mea is a tier 1 game.
The other factor is time spent in the game.
So even though i only had one pt of FO 4 and it's a tier 3 game it's still worth it based on the time.

Or you could just do the high EMS destroy ending. The moment the mod was available I used starbrat being gone for good. Not in the ventilation, not in dreams, not in the ending(s). I hated that critter right from the start. The one and only child in the whole trilogy. Rubbed into your face, since you totally, really, and most massively should feel for that poor child in order for them ruining your endgame. High EMS wasn't an option, since they'd have to pay me to even touch multiplayer. True for ME3, true for DAI and MEA.

I've played over 100 hours at this point and enjoyed the vast majority of it. For what I paid that's criminal. ME:A is basically 2 ME games in one.
if you compared this to any other medium of entertainment (movies, music, concerts, sports,) you pay for to keep you occupied at a premium level, video games of this length exceed them and are superior to them by indescribable measures.

It's been a little more disappointing than most, but I still like it a fair bit and I'm still playing it, so average, shading to bad. I didn't have severe bug issues (in SP, MP is a different matter) in my first playthrough, one glitched quest, a long (but only once fortunately) Eos load time and unread markers staying were about the worst of it.

I never even did that with the trilogy, that would have burned me out. I waited a year after beating the OT trilogy before replaying it again. And then I waited close to a year again before my 3rd playthrough. And then again... I always cool off after a full run, that way you go back to the game/s feeling fresh. Doing a 2nd playthrough straight away is just asking for burnout. I'm not touching my NG+ until atleast a handful of months. The game's only been out for 2 months and people are already on their 6th playthroughs... goddamn.

The game is long and has many things to do so the price is fine. If the options in the game are boring or not is up to each individual so does not count.

I'm already going into ME3 knowing the Hammerhead won't be there and I have to do that silly dodge and roll with a Reaper again. I was literally thinking last night I should play the trilogy again and then I thought I don't want to, simply because of that one stupid piece of gameplay.

Only time will tell, since I tend to replay games for years. That said, I don't have the same desire to revisit this game that I have always had for the OT. I say it's an average value by my standards, but mine are pretty exacting.

It was worth the money. I had a good time playing through the game, but i will freely admit that i don't have the same urge to go back to it, as with other Bioware games. Restarted a few times already, but can't get past Eos. Will probably pick it up again and do a full playthrough when all the patches and such are out.

I am a terrible person and pre-ordered the Super Deluxe Edition. I have like 250ish hours and I have loved it all. MEA has been well worth the money I paid for it.

Bad for me. I did give it a fair number of hours but it's not just about the hours played - it's how enjoyable they were. I'm sure this board will be skewed towards positive responses as it would take fans to still be interested in this game at this point in time. I still check in randomly but mostly lost interest.
