Ohio State looked good despite the off-field nonsense and Notre Dame beat Michigan. I'm a happy camper Are you a buckeye fan?

Watching Oklahoma play a no contest game against Florida Atlantic. The NCAA need to put an end to these inflated wins and have teams play in their conference or against teams who are on par with them. Oklahoma usually plays tougher opponents out of conference. I think this year and next year's ooc schedules are whack because of the realignment that happened years ago, and then we will be back to playing tougher games like we did with Ohio State. Although, Oklahoma always plays at least one cupcake to sell on PPV to the hardcore fans. Regarding the FAU game, I have no idea why Fox chose that game for national TV over Texas vs Maryland(they placed it on FSN I believe) which was an even game. Oh well, at least FAU made a few million $ for their troubles, and I think it was also their first ever nationally televised game (not counting bowls or conference championship games).

After yesterday (thanks to Maryland) they won't have to worry about Texas beating them on the last play of the natty... but yeah Alabama looked terrifying last night. I think they will be the first 15-0 team. I have no idea what to expect out of Oklahoma.. FAU was basically a scrimmage, so our defense is still unknown and our offense only played 1 1/2 quarters basically. I do like our odds to win the Big 12 for the fourth time in a row, but I don't think we're on the same tier as Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State.

I am. Its difficult for me to be objective in regards to the Urban Meyer situation because I like him. Honestly I would much rather stay focused on the football at this point.

but yeah Alabama looked terrifying last night. I wouldn't use that word. They looked....average for an Alabama team. They made a lot of mistakes. Louisville had the right idea by attacking the Tide's secondary, but they hurt themselves a lot with penalties. The Tide also had their fair share of penalties. I agree with what Saban said at the end about the thing' they need to work on. Tua looked fine. He just needs to better protect the ball when avoiding the rush. Come next week, the team will be more disciplined then they were last night. As I said on the previous page. Had the Owls not committed that penalty, they might have scored on their first drive, a drive that they were able to move the ball almost at will. Had they been able to score on that drive, the final score would likely not be as lopsided.

If FAU had a better QB they would have put some points on OU. They missed a lot of big throws. No way they keep up with OU's offense tho. I originally thought it would be like 52-21 or 56-28 type of game, but our freshman on D played really well and their starting QB seemed kinda bad. And Kylar was much better than he was in Spring Ball (Baseball fatigue was legit it seems).

Yeah, I'm hating myself for swapping Texas (7 points) for LSU (4 points) on my pick'em. Oh well, it's only week 1 and three points aren't the end of the world.

I think Clemson @ TAMU will be a great game. Clemson wins like 27-13, but it will be close going into the 4th. I think Oklahoma covers the spread versus UCLA (30) winning 52-17.

Week 5 www.espn.com/college-football/scheduleSaturday Sept 29 #4Ohio State at #9Penn State at 7:30pm on ABC - I saw the game a year ago. Penn State had the game in hand until they decided to let the Buckeyes score 19 points in the 4th quarter to win. That won't happen this weekend. Nittany Lions
#7Stanford at #8Notre Dame at 7:30pm on NBC - It'll be hard to go against the Fighting Irish since its on their home turf. This may come down to who has the ball last. Notre Dame
