*Title* Now that the dust has settled and all the DLCs are out, which one was your favourite? You can give reasons as to why if you'd like or just vote, don't mind. Me personally, Trespasser, loved it. Easily the best DA DLC I've played so far.

Ugh, this is hard. While I love Trespassers story, I also really love JoH. The Frostback Basin is one of my fav regions, (so pretty ) loved meeting Ameridan and getting to know more about Avvars. Descent is nice too, tho I prefer a sky over my head.

I just thought about writing "quick! someone make a disgusted noise becauese of the emBEARassing (again.. lol) pun" at the end of my post. But then I thought "Nope, I don't have to do that.. BSN won't dissappoint". Turns out I was right.

I liked all the DLC, but Trespasser was my favorite. In fact, it's my favorite DLC ever for DA.

My favorite is The Descent. My runner up is Jaws of Hakkon. My least favorite by a huge margin is Trespasser.

HAIRS!! OMG HAIRS BIOWERS!! cough Seriously though, Trespasser was wonderful and my favorite DA DLC. It made me laugh myself to tears and it made me cry* tears of sadness. I enjoyed the roller coaster ride of emotions.

Trespasser is an epic epilogue. Particularly for Solas because his past so tied to elvhenan. But the DLC also serves as a means to expand on the lives of the companions after Cory's defeat too. I get to hear what Cassandra does with the Seekers, what Sera is doing with the Jennies, or Varric with being Kirkwall's Viscount. If the Inquisitor has a romance, they can get married (unless its Solas).
Trespasser is the part of story that most games never explore--the aftermath of the main plot. Greatest optional content ever.

Since Trespasser is essential for gameplay mechanics alone, it's kind of not a fair comparison. Whenever people post "Should I get the DLC?" type questions, I always say Trespasser is mandatory. I voted for Trespasser on that basis. Setting Trespasser aside, I'd have to say I like Descent better. It is kind of repetitive and the ending is kind of a big question mark, but that first view of the vastness of the Ruined Thaig cavern is unmatched across all the dungeon crawls in the game. And I happen to like dungeon crawls. Besides, the music kicks ass. All that said, the DLC I probably spend the most time in is the Black Emporium.

Jaws of Hakkon, hands down. Great exploration, good story, really nice revelations. While I like Trespasser as a whole, I hate that the Inquisitor loses in the end. Descent had too much combat for my taste.

This is so hard to decide. I really liked the three of them, and eventhough I think Tresspasser is the most important in terms of story and content, I enjoyed The Descend more, which is somehow ironic since I hated the deep roads the first time I played DAO .

Tough for me, too. Like MiSigilosoYo , I totally concede that Trespasser meant more to me story-wise, and there was stuff I definitely loved (lolCullenmancer), but overall, I don't know. More questions than answers and the ending hurt. I only just played it throuh for the first time last weekend, and even though stuff had been spoiled for me, it was still a bit gut-punchy. I can say definitely that Descent was my least fav, while I loved the environment of JoH; that was a big plus.

When I played it for the first time I felt overwhelmed because of the size of the map and the many side quests. I think I was a little burnt out because of the length of the main campaign so another gigantic map full of little things to do here and there was too much. I'm a bit obsessive, so yeah I have to do everything (no elfroot shall be spared). On my second run everything felt different. I started to enjoy more the enviroments, and the avvar lore and culture, and the little details that overlooked the first time. Oh, and I loved the Ameridan storyline, I mean, I really liked it the first time but I don't know, after a full circle kind clicked better to me...I don't know how to explain it.

MiSigilosoYo I totally hear you on the map size. I was actually going to add in my previous post that I enjoyed it despite what was a lot of wandering around, back-tracking and generally getting lost. Ultimately, the welcome change in aesthetic from what I had been doing (trudging through the Western Approach and Hissy Wastes) meant I didn't care too much. It also gave me a bit of a challenge again after having been face-rolling my way through the base content at lvl 23 or so, which I appreciated. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, but I've only played it through the one time, so we'll see if I'm still complimentary about it when I get around to doing it again.

OMG, the Hissing Wastes. Another godzilla-size map that you never seem to see the end of it! I understand how the Frozen Basin is like a huge breath of fresh air after it.
