Info on the use of captured German Panther tanks in the forces of the Allied forces during WW2.
And here's a vid about the U.S. 83rd infantry division that captured and operated all sorts of German vehicles due to a great need of transportation to keep up with armored units.

A look at China's Type 15 lightweight main battle tank/light tank, which is meant to operate in areas where it's heavier type 96 and 99 tanks wouldn't be able to operate(or not as effectively), such as wetlands, plateaus, forests, etc. It weighs 33-36 tons(depending on armor configuration) and comes equipped with a 105mm rifled gun and is mainly intended for reconnaissance and infantry support. (Its export version is "VT-5")

Why mechs aren't as practical as tanks. however the thing there forgetting is a mech would basically be your bog standard infantry battle suit whilst the tank happens to be a multi crew support platform, also for it to work and be feasible the mech /battle suit version would most likely be run on a nuclear battery with generator recharge station as support (because isotopes will need refreshing lol) seriously though tanks are not as good as a lot of folks think, they require a lot of support to keep them running for a relatively short period of time and they wreck every surface they traverse especially if your running without the rubber pads.... (the pads just make it happen slower) mechs wont replace tanks but that doesnt mean both wouldn't be necessary for different roles

They're not going anywhere. Everything fills a role. Sure, I think nowadays the combo Aircraft carrier + aircraft = win in many cases. But not armor nor infantry is going to go away any time soon I think. I think the mech thing is just cultural stuff, like we keep thinking of space ships, and maybe the evolution will never get us there. Just like thinking about a light saber, as cool as it is, it would be exponentially impractical, and surely whichever tech used to develop them would be way more useful applied in a different field.

On the Cyanoacrylate glue subject: It can be used - carefully - for surgical purposes, but mostly then a special type of cyanoacrylate that doesn't have a number of negative health effects. But that wasn't its origin. It's the other way round. It was discovered in Kodak laboratories while searching and investigating candidates for an optical medium between lenses. Failing to separate the lenses again, Kodak then manufactured it and marketed it as an industrial adhesive under their Eastman brand. A certain German company named Loctite imported it, repackaged it as a commercial consumer product they named 'Super Glue'. The rest is history.

The likely replacement of conventional tank cannons, electrothermal cannons(ETCs). These use a plasma ignition method that generates higher velocities.

(it was also a catamaran design but it had all terrain wheels as well as having modular weapons platform most often with 5" mounted guns) there were several variants iirc one of which was even capable of diving although from my understanding that one wasn't well received lol

Also, they didn't have gun stabilization on armor back then.
