Slow-Firing Sniper Rifles - Any Way to Make Them Not Suck?

I still find them decent against Remant with stunning powers.

However, I completely stop using them because of Outlaws nearly giving me cancer everytime I try to hit them with slow firing sniper rifles.

I can't find an option for this. It may be too late.

If a sniper rifle has 1-2 shots per clip, then its basic level damn well better skunk mooks with a center mass shot on gold and the X version should do the same to midrange guys. With all the dog spam, anything less is a waste of time. This game dick punches you so hard for trying to hunker down and shoot that reload every other shot guns need to be super lethal to compete with the likes of the Reeger Carbine or Hurricane spray and pray. Lets face is, they are never going to fix off host lag, so stop balancing the damn weapons around an assumed head shot that is never going to happen for most of the players.

1. Equip favorite slow firing sniper rifle.

2. Equip Dhan shotgun in second slot.

3. Use Dhan.

I needs mah AP, tho'.

It's not just headshots, it's any slow firing weapon that can't shoot through my own teammates.

Some people are saying Vanquisher got fixed and the AP mod works with it now.

That would be nice. Is it Uncommon or Rare?

I might buy a couple of lottery tickets in the store and see if I can nab it with mission funds.
