First off, thanks for approving my account. I have played Mass Effect since the very first, so I have a decent knowledge of the series. The multiplayer from the third game was probably my favourite multiplayer from any game ever. Period. My friends used to be amazed at how I would just continuously play it over and over, but the truth is I never got bored (my N7 rating was around 8000 which kind of shows I knew the game pretty much inside out).
Andromeda has been somewhat of a disappointment to me so far, as I was hoping they would build upon the success of the online features of the third game rather than basically do what they did and make decisions I just cannot understand. I think in order to keep people playing and to retain their fanbase they seriously need to think about new content, and I am not talking about the odd character here and there or the odd new map, they need to release some solid fleshed out multiplayer content, just like they did for the third game. Have they given up on their fanbase? Is it because the team has been cut down they are making almost rediculous excuses during their live streams as to why they are only releasing bits here and there? I don't know.
I am sincerely hoping this is the correct forum to vent my anger/frustration towards the multiplayer features of this game as I am the only one of my friends who cares!

For those who attended BW streams, do you think we'll ever get pack releases like the Insurgence/Earth/etc. DLCs? TIA

I still enjoy MEAMP... but if there are still people whom play this game as their MAIN game, it`s actually surprising to me.
This game lost its freshness on me months ago. I honestly don`t expect any significant new contents or even care for them.
I still enjoy its unlockable contents & two or three games a day though...

I would fully expect a full PAY single player Quarian Ark DLC...then more FREE content should trickle over to MP in small batches. (urging people to buy Andromeda points). I think this is a mistake (by EA/BW) as people are more likely to buy Andromeda points when a lot of content is released at once.

The fact that ME3's expansions were free and came in packs and with much fanfare was awesome. But making sure you had all the dlc was kind of a pain. Having dlc implemented automatically prevents fragmenting the player base due to lack of DLC, and makes it easier for players in general. In theory you could have both automatically updated DLC in packs, but I think the restrictions on the size patches vs. DLC prevents that.

They did one pack like this in ME3 that released one a week, but the trailer gave us hope for getting all the others eventually. This time around, there isn't any trailer for dlc content?

Ironically they released most of it as a test for the next game to see what worked and what didn't. Then we ended up with Andomeda.. Save

TBF; That could have been prevented with an ingame message, but patches ensure that everyone gets it. And I'm a fan, honestly. I do hope this gets on the same level as me3, but on principle it's no reason why it shouldn't.

My N7 e-peen rank on ME3 is about 28k and guess what? I think Andromeda's MP is a better game. It has its flaws - it is nowhere near perfect, but I consider it an improvement in every way with the exception of, perhaps, map design.
Now you may disagree, many people do. But overall I see a lack of open-midness around here when it comes to this game. The OP might be an exception, but there are many people who have barely dedicated their time to the game and are being too quick to say how bad the game is out of mere prejudice.

The patches have definitely improved MEAMP.
It is quite playable,
However, to me, it pales in comparison to ME3MP. (30k or so in N7 rank)
I have spent nowhere near that amount of time in MEAMP, yet, but no amount of time will fix the enemy movement problems (i.e. rollerblading Fiends, teleporting goddam dogs, transporting melee targets, and Willy-nilly spawns)
ME3MP isn't perfect by a long shot, but at least it got movement down a damm sight better, not to mention things like multi-faceted melee, charging mechanics on weapons that actually work, and those beautiful sounds. (see Banshee wail, Phantom chatter, or better yet, everything Krogan)
Plus, faster than speed-of-thought Drellgods.

It was clearly the Batarian Ark they were referring to and the words were obviously spoken ba a Batarian after inhaling some nitous oxide.
