Problem is, most people in here won't realise it's satire. or alternatively they do and despite that still understand that some women claim to be equal when the bar is lowered for affirmative actions reasons rather than because they actually managed to achieve the same standard / I know! It's a wonder these women can even dress themselves, the poor, sweet delicate things.

Some women do manage to pass the normal tests even for special forces (where it's allowed). I see no reason to lower the standards for any reason, the standars are not there to discriminate anyone. The teast and standards are there for everyone's safety. If you apply to special forces and you don't pass you're not qualified no matter what you have tucked in your pants.
I hate the idea of "ratio people" in any job/position. My ex was in special forces and I can easily see why women pass those tests extremely rarely. The ones that do are equally appreciated but I see no reason to lower the standards just get women there because they want to.
That Norway thing sort of has it's place (if I understood it right) I guess but I hope they will not get to the same positions through this different training as the ones who go through normal training, but are situated only to those secured special events.
I do think it should be allowed to women participate to the tests, but I'm strongly against lowering the test standards in the name of "equality".
It's like I would need a helper boy to do my (other) job. I like it so must get to do it but I need someone to carry my tools. No. If I want do my job I will need to be able to do everything that comes in my way with my own little hands. I expect no special treatment.

I am not sexist, nor do I wish to be. The only two problems I have with it is: why only female? Also the name. A group of girls under the name Hunters seems hot to me, but something about it being girls-only just seems... Off, in some way. As for the name, Jegertroppen sounds... Well... Awesome, but I would change it. Change it to asari huntress human huntresses... Label me lame, ha.
Anyway, I Google-searched the Jegertroppen, and came across their selection and training... "Candidates are selected based on attitude and physical fitness, the minimum standard being: one to five pull-ups; 20 push-ups; 35 sit-ups in two minutes or less; 20 deadlifts; swim 200 metres (660 ft) in eight minutes or less; and perform a 7-kilometre (4.3 mi) road run carrying 15 kilograms (33 lb) in 54 minutes or less."

Thats a VERY low standard, that would be low even for standard grunts. Unless the deadlift is 200kg+. I'd love that.

Thats a VERY low standard, that would be low even for standard grunts. Unless the deadlift is 200kg+. I'd love that. no that's actually a high standard for the girls, normal standards are way lower because the military wants to look like its all about equality but so few girls can compete on a level playing field they introduced a multi tiered set of test standards based on age and sex, back when I joined up the only change granted was that for every 5 years older you got (from 35 onwards) you got an extra 15 seconds on your personal run time, so for non deployable personnel that went from 10 minutes to a whopping 11 minutes by the time you hit age 50, conversely the girls up to age 20 get 16 minutes and then gain another 30 seconds for every 5 years from age 25 onwards for front line deployable troops.... and they wonder why the males rail against them.... and I cant be bothered to go look up all the other extra low standards they need to pass.... the british army in its infinite wisdom ensured a good bit of gender hate when it not only enacted this two tired system when it did away with the mens /womens military branches but it publicised it in every barrack block, notice board and gym wall in big ass posters for several years then the brass figured out that it wasn't congenial to good unit cohesion and removed them and only the GTI's got told the revisions (cos they got revised down a few times in the first 5 years when it became apparent that most birds couldn't pass the tests, which lead to a lot more disruptive behaviour) i'm not against women in uniform, the entire time I served there were women serving with me, its just that for the first 18 months they were all part of the womans army and whilst they lived on the same camp and did things like nursing and admin, driving and security they didn't do war fighting stuff nor did they do heavy lifting and everyone got along fine.... then they became integrated and we saw exactly why they were had been kept in a separate army to the men, one day I walked into the work bay just in time to see what happens when a girl trys to do the same thing as a man, she was trying to pull a fitow box out of a helicopter, it wasn't pretty, the box weighed 125kg which was at least 50kg more than her, the end result was 6 months in hospital and she never walked again, if I hadn't been there to raise the alarm and start first aid she probably would of bled out before help came (in retrospect that might of been better because she did suicide a couple of years later) the immediate action of aviation division was to stop all women from doing the job the army had spent millions training them for.... upshot was immediate mobilisation for half the guys that were supposed to be working deep repair lines into operational theatres to replace them... 22 retrospective NMI's later women were banned from aviation because chemicals used interfere with egg production (which was actually bollocks, but it sounded better for the press release than telling the truth, they just couldn't do the job) and I also believe women should be encouraged to serve and do the job and compete on the same level, theres no reason why some of them cant achieve the same standards and do the same jobs but the constant need to be seen as doing something through affirmative action initiatives is just dangerous to everyone and it will all end poorly, a fact acknowledged on some level by the refusal of many units to permit females into them..... and yet there also wrong because just permitting them to take the tests and pass them on equal footing would be far better all round....

I'd have fitness requirements be equal after making sure that the baseline was reasonable and up to date with modern equipment and shave of any excessive/unnecessary expectations that might have become baked in cuz of the culture.
And the female only unit is an obvious response to "BUT IF MEN AND WOMEN SERVE TOGETHER THEY'LL GET DISTRACTED AND FUCK IN THE FIELD AND EVERYONE WILL DIE!"

I forgot where I heard this but a woman somewhere once said:
"We know we're not equal. We just want your respect."
Nearly broke my heart to hear that. Mmpf smh
Well, Blade The Daywalker once said:
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."
