This is just an opinion so take it easy people. If Andromeda is our last Mass Effect for a while all I want is the story of the Andromeda Initiative to end on a high note. Do the stuff for the Quarian ark tie up things like Reyes explain where the Jardaan went and let us kick the rest of the kett out of the galaxy. Andromeda to me did a lot of interesting stuff with the gameplay and classes. It took me a while to warm up to the crew of the tempest but once I did holy crap did I love the shit out of them. I would love to see more story from this crew and the Ryder twins (and more Vetra wouldn't hurt :3) The way I see it Mass Effect is not done just yet. If there is a long wait for the sequel hell I think they should just go full dragon age on us, and let us make a character of any race in the series we have seen thus far as the hero we control. Screw humans turians are better. (Btw I'm not saying I want this to be the last one >.> I want a new ME as much as anyone else.)

MEA isn't over. When DAI ended everyone said the same thing, but DA4 is going to happen. It'll be 3 years this November when DAI came out and 2 years this August when we saw it end. MEA is only 4 months old.

I think an epilogue is a good idea regardless. It is pretty obvious that DA wasn't over with DAI and it had two epilogues (one in the base game after taking down Corypheus and another one at the end of the Trespasser).

I hear ya. My favorite DLCs have been the Trespasser and Citadel variety. Provides closure for that particular game especially if the same companions will not return in the next one.

I am actually terrified of the idea of the Epilogue-like DPCs after Trespasser, so I would rather actually not have a DLC than a trespasser-like DLC. I like how A1 ended. I would love a DLC about the Quarians though! And playing as a Quarian in a half-mask in it! Yeah... the epilogue that butchers my main game's happy-ish ending & sense of achievement... NO! NOT AGAIN!

I hope there is more to come, I'm optimistic on that point, but if not I would very much like answers to questions. An epilogue would fill that void in a bittersweet way.

If by extremely unlikely scenario ME:A is put on ice, then only real good option is for Bioware to create some epilogue DLC/expansion. Leaving out all these loose ends in ME:A would be terrible and make new ME game impossible to be done until next generation of consoles.

I actually want an epilogue too. One thing about the end of the game I'm not fond of is the lack of any meaningful changes to the world in general. Post-campaign DLC would allow us to see oupost growth and changes to the environment (frak you everfrosty Voeld!). Of course, these are mainly cursory things, but they would be welcome details alongside any story they may come up with.

He'd been clinically dead twice, and in a cryo for 600 years, and has a symbiotic AI, so what's a prosthetic? Lol.

If they don't really want to release multiple DLCs, a DLC wrapping up loose ends like DAI's Tresspasser would be nice. Maybe end with a cliffhanger. Hmmm, maybe even have a larger than usual DLC.
It would seem odd to leave it as it is and not see another ME in like 5+ years.

Yeah, regardless, I'd like a DLC or two (or three). Andromeda had one of the better Bioware endings as stands. That being said, there were a few loose threads I'd really like to chase. But if this is really it, I'd like one that wraps a big bow around the game, warts and all, and ties everything up with love. That's just me, though.

MEA isn't over. When DAI ended everyone said the same thing, but DA4 is going to happen. It'll be 3 years this November when DAI came out and 2 years this August when we saw it end. MEA is only 4 months old. DAI was a GOTY and broke Bioware launch sales records. Of course we were always getting a DA4.

I would love for them to go to the Awakening style expansion to finish most of the hanging plot lines. There's just so much that needs to be tackled, from the Quarian Ark, to Benefactor and bringing the mom back . . .
I want the twin(whoever slept the whole game) to get their moment, and it would take a fairly big story to do this justice and then set up the next game. I hope!

MEA is basically a sci-fi DA game, so I think an expansion wrapping everything up like Awakening did would be the perfect way to complete it, but they want MEA to be a saga, so this would mean Ryder's story is ending for good.

It all depends on what they do, for me these are the possibilities :
they have unresolved plot from the milky way that they need to finish and that is the benefactor, the quarian ark, and ryder's mother
Then there are the plot of the andromeda galaxy which are the jaardaans, the one who made the scourge (their ennemies), and the rest of the kett (the primus and the senate).
What I think is going to happen is that we will probably get the quarian ark as a first dlc, then if we have another we shall probably have a dlc that finishes the milky way for good by combining the benefactor with ryder's mother. With probably a more personal quest and journey and character development for the rest of the squadmates.
If they need a kett enemy during those plot they have the primus.
Once that is done, if they don't wanna do a full sequel sold at sixty dollars, I would hope they would go for an expansion ala DAO awakening where they can wrap up the story with the rest of what happens in the andromeda galaxy. The ketts, the jaardans, their ennemies everything at once.

Everytime somebody mentions the Trespasser DLC and how good it was... for me it was sheer horror, as my romance interest Bull tried to kill me. The horror, the horror.
If MEA2 never happens I am expecting at least a closure. Without explanations I will not have any interest to play it again.
