I go to bed being highly suspicious of the entire thing, come to find out I was right in doing so. Glad you guys undcovered the truth behind this "Sinclair Networks," I wonder if finding the person responsible is even a plausible task? All I have to ask is, how can you be this bored with your life? How can you put in this much effort - while not as thorough as the culprit believed he/she had done - for one video game franchise? What was the ultimate end goal? Ugh so many questions!

I'm not talking about the devs, I'm talking about the heads at EA. E3 would've been a great time to announce this. I can't think of one time that BioWare has ever announced DLC at E3. It's always been new game announcements because it's such a big stage. Now GamesCom or similar smaller conference might be a viable space to announce DLC, but not E3. EA uses E3 for their hypetrain(s). Depends. They did announce the SWTOR expansions at E3. |

At least now we know for sure that they are NOT ALLOWED to say anything. That's the thing. I felt that the whole transparency thing they went on about regarding sharing information with the community felt like horseshit to me. They don't care. They just need contracts and to stick to them. |

Very true, but those expansions were huge, though. Like a new game huge. And they're for an MMO where subscriptions are the currency of the land. Hyping the MMO playerbase to continue subscribing makes perfect sense for E3. I would think if BioWare were going to announce DLC at E3 they would have set the precedent with the "Jaws of Haakon" DLC for DA:I, but they didn't. That's why the lack of DLC announcements at E3 doesn't surprise me. |

Its why I didn't trust the articles from Kotaku for they have a reputation and even if people feel that one author is worth believing over the entire mess because of his pieces on Destiny I still have a hard believing them without a secondary independent report or at least an official statement from EA/BioWare which they did do about moving people out of BioWare Montreal. I will admit I was a little fooled by the article for I questioned what was being posted, but not the actual company and kudos to those that took the time to debunk the hoax. I think what this does show overall is that the internet wants to push buttons when it comes to BioWare and the products they create, for Rockstar has been even more cryptic about their single player DLC for GTAV and I have not seen anything remotely like this about them and GTAV has been out for three years. It takes them to actually do something that harms the community before the internet reacts to what they are doing. |
