This just makes me thing the whole thing "ME:A is sacrificed for Anthem" a complete bullshit.

Bioware would suffer from a lot of ME fans not going for Anthem, in that case. Not something they want, considering Anthem is a massive project and it will need as many sales as possible when released.

So even in scenario ME:A had sold poorly( it didn't), it would still be in EA's and Bioware's interest to release SP DLC's just out of long term PR reasons. They'd still make a buck from DLC sales, so they wouldn't lose money on it either.

Otherwise, Bioware risks to lose a huge chunk of potential buyers for Anthem.

Mass Effect fans will still buy it in droves. They'd be worse off releasing DLC that's as unpolished as Andromeda was. The hit to Biowares reputation would cost them more than the sales of the DLC. That's the game EA is playing.

Yes, I wonder. SN say they had (partially) created 3 dlc packs. They cost money. I mean they could have created more mp stuff in this time. Would it cost so much more to finish them that it's not profitable enough for EA?
