The ME:A 'Story DLC Cancelled' Sinclair Networks Facebook hoax

I'm trying to remember how they broke the news that DA2's last DLC was cancelled. I know they were hinting at the DLC and then somehow there was the talk of it being cancelled. I'm not sure, but wasn't there a post made on the old BSN? I don't think that they would just be mum about it, but would probably try to keep it from being made into a big deal.

You know, sometimes I forget how awful the Mass Effect subreddit is until I go there.

Well, the OG closed, which sucks because I really liked that outdoor deck they had.

And what was going to be the Exalted March wound up becoming DA:I, or at least that's what Laidlaw said on his Twitch stream once. Or at least part of the story was from what was the Exalted March expansion.

We've almost always been labeled as toxic trash, sadly.

That will likely never change, no matter the circumstances.

I do have to say I'm highly disappointed to see one of our forum members essentially bullied away due to being made "infamous" via Kotaku writer tweets. Yes, it's a public forum so anyone can come see what we have to say, but to shine a spotlight on private individuals using one's public Twitter with a following like that is crass and low, in my personal opinion.

You're welcome to screenshot my post and tweet it to your followers by the way, Jason. A BSN forum moderator says something negative about your behavior, that should get you some nice clicks. I'm not afraid, and I won't run. Go for it.

It was something Laidlaw mentioned on Twitch, that they had used some of the story from what was going to be the Exalted March expansion, which was supposed to be huge, and wound up using it in DA:I.  A case of "waste not, want not", I believe.

I would have loved the expansion, I'm sure, but the DLC DA2 received was really good.

Of course you won't run, DR. You're a badass. Always have been.

And, yes, posting tweets without at the fucking least blurring the user names was an absolute dick move. I won't lie, I am very annoyed. Especially if it had anything with lonegunnar leaving the forum, who, btw, if he's seeing this post, needs to get back in here, dammit. We're missing you, dude.
