We've almost always been labeled as toxic trash, sadly.

That will likely never change, no matter the circumstances.

I do have to say I'm highly disappointed to see one of our forum members essentially bullied away due to being made "infamous" via Kotaku writer tweets. Yes, it's a public forum so anyone can come see what we have to say, but to shine a spotlight on private individuals using one's public Twitter with a following like that is crass and low, in my personal opinion.

You're welcome to screenshot my post and tweet it to your followers by the way, Jason. A BSN forum moderator says something negative about your behavior, that should get you some nice clicks. I'm not afraid, and I won't run. Go for it.

I'm still here and have no intention of running either.  As a member of the public, I am entitled to view the behavior of journalists in podcasts based on my own standards.  I did not react positively to that particular podcast and said I felt it was unprofessional.  I still do.  Anyone can probably dig it up for themselves and form their own opinions on it.  That Jason saw fit to make fun of my statement on Twitter is also, IMO, unprofessional and that it is also drawing unprofessional comments from other gaming journalist reflects on their lack of professionalism as well.  If they don't want their work assessed by random members of the public, I suggest they get out of publishing it.

Well at least we have an other update to that neogaf article, we know as of now that jason Has no problem relying on bullying tactics to silence the people who don't believe him for anything he says, or criticize him.

True, but there were several other character stories that resonated with me as well. I think, though, that is part of the equation; where and why do some stories click for some people, but not others? One of my nieces adores the Vetra story (as do I) and, given her background, that makes sense. My other niece adores Cora (personally, I don't) which, again, considering her history, makes sense. Either one would honestly throw down to defend their favorite character.

Characters and stories mean something to different people for different reasons. It sucks that MEA didn't grab you like it grabbed me. Maybe in the next game it will.
