Actually, topic and link ..... I'll just leave it here.I am aware, that it is Kotaku, but - two similar news in just couple of days ..... are already a tendency. And - still no official statements from Bioware (social media in general and Twitter in particular aren't official sources).

Yeah, I can only laugh at this point. I'm sure there will be only healthy reactions to the article.

I guess Kotaku is looking to have more people visit their site by posting articles like that. This look a lot like clickbait article. Plus, EA and Bioware have posted/tweeted to kill any fasle rumors of Sinclair things. Let's simply wait for anwsers by people from EA/Bioware and not from ''Sources''

I will tell EA & BW straight right now.
I am not buying your MEA DLC no matter what so do whatever you want.
I can still make a use out of free MP contents update though. lol

I'd rank indifference or skepticism near the top (tho' I'm unsure in what order) and rage or self-righteous gloating near the bottom. But I'm sure we won't see either of those last two examples. Tee hee.

While I am in the wait and see camp, I really would like to hear from Bioware on this. If you were in charge of releasing info for a company and you were indeed working on DLC, wouldn't it be in your best interest to at least say something about this. But, if you were in charge and you were not working on DLC (or have any intentions towards DLC), what would you do?

DLC is but one aspect of ongoing franchise-related product.
They (the publisher, not EA/BioWare) did recently announce the next book will be available on Sept. 1, and I believe Dark Horse has announced another comic.

For far credible he is ? I saw him trolling people from this very forum on twitter... How does that affect his credibility? This forum is just a bunch of mumblefuck headcases. Actual journalists tend not to troll their readers. Clickbaity bloggers do though, because hate-traffic aggregates pageviews and generates ad revenue just as well as earned readership. Better, sometimes. That doesn't necessarily automatically invalidate his other activities, but it certainly doesn't add to his credibility.

His response over on reddit after is 1st MEA article was reasonable and included some prescient speculation that there would likely be no MEA SP DLC. Maybe I'm looking down the wrong rabbit holes but the few Schreiner/BSN links I've seen are pretty tame. Maybe you could point me to something he did that was trollworthy, but otherwise you just seem to be conflating him with some general 'bad-internet' notions.

I don't spend my time super-wisely, obviously, but I do stop far short of having opinions about individual gaming bloggers. I was simply responding to the general proposition that trolling doesn't affect credibility. I have no idea what troll activities the previous poster was even referencing, let alone their severity. For what it's worth though, his speculation was only prescient if he's proven by time to be correct, so at this stage using that as proof of credibility is a bit circular. As someone pointed out yesterday, Inquisition's first DLC didn't drop until March '15, following its Nov '14 launch, and it ultimately received three sizable SP DLCs. It's a bit early to assume nothing's coming.

It is a certainly fucking convenient time for him to capitalize on the mumblings going on. Even if this turns out to be true, fuck him.
For all we know he could've had a hand in the hoax. Buy his book plz

EGM just posted an article about this couple hours ago. There will be no SP DLC content Just looked out of curiosity. The EGM article cites Kotaku, and literally nothing else. Edit: after a brief Google survey of results from today for "Andromeda DLC," I found not a single source for the proposition that there will be none that doesn't cite the Kotaku article, and exclusively the Kotaku article. So, either Kotaku broke the story and a dozen other sites are vulturing the pageviews, or Kotaku made up some shit to generate traffic, and a dozen other sites are vulturing the pageviews. We all know Bioware won't make a direct statement on the matter, so no resolution will come until we either get DLC or enough time passes that we can be sure none's coming.

So while Kotaku acknowledges the Sinclair Computing rumour to be a hoax, it says exactly the same thing this Sinclair Networks claimed.
And the source being "three people familiar with BioWare’s plans"
If this turns out to be true or not, I guess we'll see at the end of July apparently...

One need not have personally experienced every troll to have an educated opinion on the subject. Also, *your.

All they did was say they have never heard of Sinclair. They didn't say the claim was false, which to me means they have no plans for story DLC. But Bioware is famous for not saying anything until it's been 100% approved, so they may want to make DLC but don't have the OK yet. Who knows. Not every game needs DLC though. You would have thought Bioware have heard of the company which develops content for them.. They claimed to have made content for them. People in previous threads claimed they do not have affiliation with Bioware citing certain sources. I don't know nor care. All I said was they didn't say what Sinclair claimed was false, just that they dont know or work with them.
