That whole mission was a joke. The reason why Cerberus failed is because the ponytail failed his own mission. I also believe that Udina should never of been killed. Just shot in the arm/shoulder so he could be questioned. I would also let him shoot the asari councilor if Shepard hesitates to shoot him.

Day 39, such a touching scene, it had to be in the list. That it comes on the day that BSN Prime is also supposedly 'put to rest' is doubly fitting.

As sad as the scene is with Thane dying, it should never of happened.
When he said "that assassin should be embarrassed for letting a sick drell stop him", I wanted a renegade interrupt for my femshep to say, "had you shot the guy when you had the opportunity, you might not be here lying on your deathbed". Shepard turns around and leaves just as Thane dies

Jacob kind of gets overlooked in ME3, actually he rather gets overlooked in ME2... So, Day 41, it's getting really hard now to pick clips. As the game heads towards closure we have both dramatic and 'feely' moments. This one is a nod to the character conversations on the Citadel, and a particularly exciting moment for one Hanar... Just shot in the arm/shoulder so he could be questioned. I would also let him shoot the asari councilor if Shepard hesitates to shoot him. This so much. You could tell they were writing certain things out of the narrative just to cover up the fact that there was no reason for any of it. I really liked Udina as an annoyingly stubborn, and selfish politic influence for humans regardless of whether Anderson would've taken his seat or not but he did just not deserve that kind of scene where he gets shot and is killed instantly just because "the stakes are high" or "he was such an asshole" like every character in every scene say when referring to the coup afterwards. It felt like such a mishandling of Udina, but even in general Mac's version of Udina just didn't really feel like Udina to me. They also told him to stop his overly hammy accent for the voice recordings (at least you can tell because it's missing) and they dyed his hair for no reason xD I felt he was even sort of a comedic relief character in ME1 and ME2. You can't just kill him in cold blood, even if he had taken some pretty extreme and seemingly impulsive actions.

Jacob kind of gets overlooked in ME3, actually he rather gets overlooked in ME2... Overlooked or not, he did something the ME3 squadmates failed to do. Here's some possibilities why the squadmates didn't provide cover fire Ashley and Tali - they were getting drunk Liara - busy taking armor from dead bodies Garrus - he was calibrating Kaidan - his implant was giving him headaches edibot - trying to think of a joke James - getting another tattoo Javik - he doesn't care about the primitives

I did love that Javik on the Citadel scene. Esp. with a paragon interrupt. And then for the first I can remember, Javik did not call them "primitive", rather he had enjoyed spending his time among the ..."Young".

Day 43.
More drama to come, but before we get there, there has to be a clip that recognises the Citadel DLC. Sure there are action moments as well in Citadel, but the character beats are a thing of beauty.

Day 44.
This sequence was a surprise (at the time) and a powerful kick up the backside for Shepard that helped the plot, in my view. I recall my 'nice' Paragon Shepard went all angry and renegade discussing this with the crew afterwards...

The Fall of Thessia? hahahahahahahaha. Easily the worst mission in the whole trilogy. The only good part is bringing Javik to listen to him talk smack to the asari.

Also, i kinda agree with Ilusive Man's lines in this video. If subjugating the reapers was possible, mankind would develop in a inimaginable way (but yeah it was too risky/not possible)

TIM can believe he can control them all he wants. My Shepard will destroy the things.

Whether it was cool or not ... I enjoyed taking different characters ... Javik included ... on the mission. Most had pithy comments for Liara and in each case, her discomfort grew ... until the "literally, by the goddess" popped out of her mouth. And of course, after the mission, her ranting to Javik, on the Normandy, which was also fun ... regardless of which path Shepard took. Spoiler, because it is off topic and got longer than anticipated. On the old BSN, I mostly stuck to the MP thread, so I was never really aware that many folks picked favorite squadmates to play almost exclusively throughout the game(s) (except for loyalty missions or where a character was mandatory). I just sort of assumed people played all the squadmates (of course, I should know what happens when "we" assume). Similarly, I assumed most folks played both male and female Shepards, maybe equally or close to it.
This has been quite a learning experience for me. And explains to a degree, why I so often go, "huh?", when reading about the experiences of others and their take on the game or their hopes for Andromeda. To include the idea that Shepard (and soon Ryder) is the avatar of the player. I think I am very much an outlier, from what I've read here.
Shepard, the Inquisitor and in the future ... Ryder ... is just the protagonist in the video game I'm playing, not me, not an avatar of me. Maybe I've played too much MP ... always playing different characters, different builds, different weapons ... I don't associate myself with any single character ... even if some are characters I really like and prefer over others.
When I say outlier, don't want to imply that my approach is unique ... but it is a lot less prevalent than I assumed. I suppose in one way, this would be expected, I've played the ME trilogy a lot and ME3MP a huge amount. Most folks only do a few runs, so exploring many of the options was not ... an option. I did a much more limited set of runs in the DA trilogy, never got into DAMP, managed to cover a lot of options in SP ... but nowhere near what I did in ME.

To answer your spoilered point, I nearly always play the same character and use the same squadmates not because I see the character as an avatar of me but because I don't particularly like playing different versions of the same story. I usually only play SP games once or twice and having done that, I don't particularly enjoy playing it again using a different character - I find it spoils the experience for me. In other words, the RPG aspect of the game doesn't interest me much.
I realise this means I miss a lot but I enjoy it anyway so I don't care much. I did replay ME 1 & 2 several times - unusually. I might play different classes but it's always essentially the same character. I only played one of the origins in ME1 for instance and had no interest (and still have no interest) in trying the others. So it's not always about having an avatar. I played MEMP endlessly and religiously cycled through all the characters (and all the weapons and gear).

Leviathan wasn't bad. Too bad Samantha couldn't be in the dlc. Have a funny line of dialogue with femshep at the shower. Have her talk with Ann about the Rachni. Even have Sam track the signal that locates where Leviathan might be.
The biggest issue I have is why didn't Shepard ask Leviathan about the catalyst?

Im following this thread since the beggining and it is cool to remember trilogy moments before N7 day. However, as someone whose only DLC played is Citadel, im kinda disappointed. Proportionally, more DLC's moments were chosed than within the regular trilogy, so the DLC's were more fun than the main story??
