If you think I am talking about you specifically for rumors, I'm not. I was talking about people in general who do both. Yours are misconceptions. Now again... why do you care so much? Okay, so was it a misconception that Mike Laidlaw said that Bioware is working on new story content for DAI? Is there a reason you won't answer my question? As for yours, others have already pointed out things you mistook or misunderstood. Ask them.

DAI didn't have 3 years of development erased/reworked. DAI had better reception. DAI won more awards. DAI developers weren't moved to other studio after game release. DAI still had all the old BW developers on the team. Macs been on mass effect since ME 1. Co lead wrote ME 2 (my favorite of the series) and was lead creative director on MEA (my second favorite of b the series)

I asked how come you come into thread that you don't agree with and post your grievances but when I go into other threads that I don't agree with and post my grievances, I am in the wrong. You replied with the reason you do it because you want to set the record clear and not allow people to be fooled by rumors and misconceptions. I then asked you to quote anywhere in my OP where I posted a rumor and then you came back to clarify that with me, it was misconceptions. So then I asked you to goto my OP and quote me where I posted a misconception. So I ask again, when I posted in my OP that Bioware at least one time came out to confirm that new story DLC is coming, how is that a misconception? I mean, did Mike Laidlaw not say that?

Actually it just occurred to me i wonder if Mac Walters was the one who saved Andromeda. We know there was an original lead director on it who left and got promoted. We also know that the game was trying to ape no mans sky until it wasn't. Who made that decision i wonder? Even then Mac led an effort over a short 18 month development cycle and managed to produce a pretty good game. Also using half of the budget of most triple A games released recently.

Also stop comparing the past ways DLC and devs were to how they are now. Things change, mostly thanks to fans leaking things. Seeing as you won't answer my question, I am sad to say I was trolled by a troll and thought you were at least a little decent of a human, but I was wrong. *blocked*

Such a low ball move but I guess thats how things are.

Saying that if some people want to be delusional is not the same as questioning someone's mental condition or their decency as a human which I believe is really low. But it doesn't matter, the post was reported so thats all that I can do.

That's actually exactly what delusion is: characterized by or holding idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder.

Okay, folks, let's stop trying to deduce the mental condition of anyone on either side of this DLC fence.
Things are, quite honestly, getting way too snippy on both sides of the debate across multiple threads. If you want DLC, good for you. If you don't want DLC, I don't really understand but good for you as well. If you believe DLC is coming, don't engage in personal attacks and/or try to bait those who don't. If you don't believe DLC is coming, I ask the same of you.
Play nice, and if you can't, the ignore button is a fabulous option for your peace of mind. And honestly... just use the function without parting shots about using the function.
Thank you kindly.

You seem to be getting desperate, my man. Did the release of Mass Effect: Annihilation freak you out that bad? Do you know when they announced the "Jaws of Hakkon" DLC? Just one day before it dropped. No hints. No clues. Nothing. They just dropped it on the market as a XB1 and PC exclusive with no previous announcement in the, what, 5 or 6 months prior to it. So you might want to find another example. Which was horrible on EA's part. I was in West Texas at the time so I couldn't possibly download the game then. Do you know that I didn't play the DLC until just a few months ago? I had already given up on Inquisition on the PC port and had moved onto titles like Fallout 4, Far Cry 4 DLC, SC2 DLC, etc. when I got back home. The DLC changed my view of Inquisition from a 7 to a 9 with it's only flaw being game flow and no user-friendly modding tools like Origins (I know Frostbite is crazy complicated so I get that part.) The rest worked itself out over time. I'm back into Inquisition again until the new rig is put together. EA really needs to find a way to bridge that ground that once was the artsy BioWare studio prior to EA's acquisition and the corporate version that actually holds people accountable to deadlines. I think these unofficial forums (aren't the mods terrific?) are great and this could be the perfect bridge. It may already be and I'm just too dense to see it.

I never could figure out why they didn't provide any marketing prior to the release. It was an amazing DLC, so unless profits from it bumped up against quarterlies I couldn't understand why it didn't get any marketing push. Not that it really needed any. Damn thing supposedly did awfully well.

For those who say that Bioware has never confirmed that new DLC is coming prior to the DLC launch and that it is standard practice for them to just not say anything and then surprise us with an announcement a week or so before launch of a new DLC, well, that isn't 100% accurate. In May of 2015 when asked on twitter regarding the future of DAI and if more story DLC is coming, Mike Laidlaw replied with this: "We're not quite done with story content for DAI just yet"
He proved to be right as in August of that year, The Descent was released and in the following month, Trespasser was released. He even went on to answer another question regarding if the Warden would make an appearance and replied with: "I do not feel the HOF would work well as an NPC"Source-------------------------------- Now it must be noted that when this comment was made, the first story DLC, Jaws of Hakkon had already been released so I guess one can assume that since the first DLC was already released, that opened up Bioware to then openly confirm that new DLC is coming weeks/months in advance. However, it still does show that Bioware has in the past came out and assured fans that more post-launch story content is indeed coming. Clearly something is off where you have to be 'right' and rain on people's parade rather than letting them hope and look forward to something they want. Seriously. Your need to be right, prove others wrong, and rain on other people's parade is just mean. I bet you run around telling small children that there is no Santa and maybe even kick puppies and kittens when you are having a bad day. Too many people in this forum that really just want to ruin things for others. It's truly sick.

The game flow is still a problem, but yes... the DLC wrapped everything up nicely. It's why I'm stoked for DA4. Just the idea of being in Tevinter has made me get hyped again.

I think these unofficial forums (aren't the mods terrific?) are great and this could be the perfect bridge. It may already be and I'm just too dense to see it. Hmmm. I haven't played any DAI DLC for the same reason -- moved on to Fallout 4 and then never came back to it. Maybe I will replay the game and buy the DLC for the second run. Jaws of Hakkon is amazing, Descent is really good if you like the Deep Roads stories, and Trespasser is an absolute must. I played through all three and don't regret a bit of it.

For those whose desperately seek to twist reality in order to justify spreading negativity and hatred in a fandom for something you have a sick, pathetic vendetta against, adding disclaimers that prove your example has no merit in comparison to current events proves you're only making your argument for the sake of trying to spread negativity.

Saying that if some people want to be delusional is not the same as questioning someone's mental condition or their decency as a human which I believe is really low. But it doesn't matter, the post was reported so thats all that I can do.
