DLC ANNOUNCED!!!!! It has nothing to do with the Quarian Ark however. This apparently has to do with a new race called the Eealen. They appear to be a vassal race of the kett which escaped and now has new information about exaltation. That all the information that was revealed. You broke my Bullshit meter, sir. It's one thing to not comment or announce the possible DLC, but did they even tease it? Because if not, yeah, I don't think any SP is coming. From what I'm hearing they just talked about making the game |

They probably said something along the lines of, "We cannot comment on future content at this time, including SP DLC." That does not necessarily imply that there is such content. |

Book signings are excellent ways to promote and sling books. They're not "just a..." things. Big name authors like GRRM and JK Rawlings do them regularly to push sales. at that point though all they have out are one book and two comic issues. three major producers are needed for that? Walters is also an author. The other two may be there to provide additional support/info for book/comic tie-ins. |

In the end, we still know that they can't comment on future projects, like they've been saying from before Schreier's delusional hit-piece. They almost certainly have a specific date that's been long-planned to announce the DLC.
Which I'm sure the scum who pushed the "no DLC" garbage know perfectly well. They get their clicks, while the developers get hounded, abused, and threatened and fans are conned into feeling disappointed and angry.
It must be great to work at BioWare. Make the greatest games in the world, get nonstop abuse because a psychotic vocal minority genuinely wants you to die for not making exactly what those people think you're obligated to make, and have gaming "journalists" openly pander to a horde of trolls who hurl misogynistic and homophobic abuse at your staff and fans.

Pretty sure the devs aren't allowed to say anything regarding the future of their games before a set time. Asking a very specific question and then taking the denial to mean that specific thing must be in development and that's why they're not allowed to say aye/nay is... something.

Nah, it's bad writing, Ryder is immediately treated like the second coming by the general populous and given massive power and responsibility with zero oversight on their first day. The whole Pathfinder concept is a giant plot hole made even more jarring by the inexperience and attitude of the Ryder character. Even Shepard considered being given command of the Normandy really out of left field, the idea that they would send 'that' crew out unaccompanied in the Tempest is just incredulous. Ryder's youth isn't the issue, loads of games, TV series and movies work just fine with young protagonists when they handle them in a more convincing manner. Bad... in your opinion. An opinion that you perceive as fact. My point still stands as you feed into it. Appreciation of writing is 100% SUBJECTIVE. For example, people rave over HZD, but I laughed at how shite I thought the writing and characters were, but that is an opinion, not fact and I don't claim it to be a fact. The writing in that game did nothing for me, but it obviously did for others. You don't seem to fully grasp the concept of a "plot hole" either as the Pathfinder concept is thought out and explains Ryder's position is given his inexperience. People looked up to him because he is portrayed by the Nexus as their last best hope, and in desperate times, that is a perfectly sound plot point. I can pick out all of the same types of nitpicks in the OT, but I don't because I'm not one of those types of people. If DLC ever comes out, whether it's in a month or a year or 2 years, whenever, I'll buy it no problem and if there isn't any DLC, then that will be a shame, I'll look forward to Anthem and DA4, and future Mass Effect meanwhile I'll just play other video games.

The writing make perfect sense to me and I don't see any plotholes in having a group of individuals being dedicated to exploring the unknown.
