In the end, we still know that they can't comment on future projects, like they've been saying from before Schreier's delusional hit-piece. They almost certainly have a specific date that's been long-planned to announce the DLC. Which I'm sure the scum who pushed the "no DLC" garbage know perfectly well. They get their clicks, while the developers get hounded, abused, and threatened and fans are conned into feeling disappointed and angry. It must be great to work at BioWare. Make the greatest games in the world, get nonstop abuse because a psychotic vocal minority genuinely wants you to die for not making exactly what those people think you're obligated to make, and have gaming "journalists" openly pander to a horde of trolls who hurl misogynistic and homophobic abuse at your staff and fans. I agree the abuse for Bioware has often been over-the-top - the level of vitriol inexcusable.... feedback and criticism is fine and can be provided in a civil and respectful way. Having said that, lately it feels like Bioware is listening more to the haters than to its fans and that is very discouraging to me |

I'm feeling like I want to move onto another series after this. Really starting to not give a shit. If dlc comes I'll play it but you know this isn't great news. Me too ... Bioware could still turn this around you know. All hope is not lost yet. And you know even if mass effect is done for now at least another dragon age is being made. But all of those dlc rumors and BW not commenting on anything doesn't set a great mood. If I was them I would have had a dlc plan in place and let people know when and where content is being released. That would have cut off bullshit like this from happening completely. |

Pretty sure the devs aren't allowed to say anything regarding the future of their games before a set time. Asking a very specific question and then taking the denial to mean that specific thing must be in development and that's why they're not allowed to say aye/nay is... something. I agree. I'm sure that by now they entire BioWare dev team is aware of the hoax and the "article". Via the Twitter Thread: Mike Gamble, Mac Walters and Fabrice Condominas will be at San Diego Comic-Con. Why would they need to send (two producers and the lead writer, mind you) Gamble, Condominas and Walters there if they weren't going to announce anything? I believe it was similar people when they showed of Liam's loyalty mission for the first time. San Diego starts on July 20th, dlc's in general come out on Tuesday. You know that image of when the first dlc was released vs villania game is released? The picture said July 30th, however that's a Sunday. The next Tuesday after Comic-Con is the 25th. BioWare- at least with DAI the announce time vs actual release was a few days at most. If nothing gets announced then? Then there won't be any dlc. |
