I disagree with this statement.

Of course they have plans for the future - if they wouldn't have any, they'd be about to shut down the studio. Likely a lot of that plan is about Anthem.

"Cannot comment on" or "have no answers concerning" is corporate speak for "I don't want to talk about it." And who can blame them? They're getting idiotic amounts of hate for several reasons, and if they were to clearly state that there wouldn't be any story DLC, they'd have to worry about former "BW loyalists" turning against them too. Damned if you do, damned if you don't...

Seriously, only an idiot will now believe that DLC will happen.

I was making a reference to the people who meme'd this game into the dirt. Not you.

On the minute off-chance that millions of satisfied players and strong sales don't merit a DLC, it will be the fault of no one but the psychotic internet circlejerk that wishes death—and for many of them who are just human scum, that's literal—upon developers that don't do exactly what the circlejerk wants, prodded on by hacks in gaming "journalism" who have seen exactly who these people are—exactly the kind of abuse and threats they hurl at BioWare staff—and decided they were willing to sell their souls for the circlejerk's clicks.

That's absurd.
BioWare never announced anything at Comic Con. Only sometimes dropped a hint. This time, we got nothing. Or at least, we need to wait until a video is up for it in case something was missed.


We will also have San Diego Comic Con in 2 weeks, which is far larger then Montreal Comic Con, as if I'm not mistaken they do live streams for that one.


Then there's probably final hope or announcement at Gamescom 22nd August, bu that's month and a half away. And while it's very likely BioWare will have presence there, we don't know what will they bring up as it's month and a half away.

You should really take the anger down a notch - it's defusing your arguments.

At this point that's the only conclusion. Of course still a lot of people here will "believe" in some August, September or even mid-2018 DLC announcement - but seriously - nothing will happen. The most odd thing for me is that more proof we have, less people believe in that.

In the end, we still know that they can't comment on future projects, like they've been saying from before Schreier's delusional hit-piece. They almost certainly have a specific date that's been long-planned to announce the DLC.

Which I'm sure the scum who pushed the "no DLC" garbage know perfectly well. They get their clicks, while the developers get hounded, abused, and threatened and fans are conned into feeling disappointed and angry.

It must be great to work at BioWare. Make the greatest games in the world, get nonstop abuse because a psychotic vocal minority genuinely wants you to die for not making exactly what those people think you're obligated to make, and have gaming "journalists" openly pander to a horde of trolls who hurl misogynistic and homophobic abuse at your staff and fans.
