I'm really stuck on the Path of Light puzzle Horizon Zero Dawn Frozen Wilds Restore Power to the System Shaman's Path....I've tried to watch three different videos and they're all very confusing. they just run all over the floor and turn the dial all willy-nilly with absolutely ZERO point of reference. I can get some dials to glow, but others not, and I can't seem to make sense of it. I know it all has to flow back towards the center where you thrust your spear...But I really don't understand it without visual points of reference. Does anyone have any tips how to solve it? I always start from the center because that's where the source is, then I look at the first tier of connectors and look for the one that directs the outflow and try to connect from there.

Is The Weave armour worth wearing? Any recommendations for armour and best weapons for the DLC and is it really worth jumping to the DLC before the last battle in HZD?Shield Weaver is good against Deathbringers hence, wear it for the last fight. Don't wear the shield weaver for the DLC. It doesn't buff much from elemental attacks. Wear something else with four mod slots and preferably with default healing. Edit. Hope you're doing better. How's the injury?

How's the injury? Do any of the armors have default healing or am I missing something? Cool I have a set of armour maxed for every element and corruption. The injury is shit TBH (only played an hour today), a pinched nerve in the neck should settle down by itself in 2 weeks but it just gives me constant pain that varies from mild to excruciating randomly but which is terrible at night for some reason. No medication has helped so far, trying a new one tonight and have to have a steroid injection into the C7 nerve in 11 days. Thanks for asking though.

The Banuk Werak Runner provides a slow hp recovery, so does the Banuk Werak Chieftain (which you can't get in the beginning, it has four mod lots if I remember right). Re Injury; pain that's bad at night. Could it have something to do with sleep position and height / type of pillow?

Re Injury; pain that's bad at night. Could it have something to do with sleep position and height / type of pillow? Will have to check out the runner gear and chieftain gear. The night time is worse mainly due to usage during the day and just building pressure on the nerve over time during the day through muscle tightness which my Physio try's to relieve. Basically the part of the spine that the nerve exits is so narrow it is pressing on the nerve all the time and aggravating it. Sleep is worse because it doesn't matter how I lye in bed it puts more pressure in it and I can't move around and distract myself like during the day, and it is making it hard to go to sleep. So I have new tablets that will hopefully help with the nerve pain till I have a steroid injection to reduce the inflammation. Otherwise I just take sleeping tablets and normal pain killers to make myself fall asleep.

So no real time to play yesterday but started the DLC, hey wow nice scenery and then WTF some Daeomn Scorcher attacks me, my first two sots of the bow to weak points took it to about 5% health but hey the game says we are having none of that. At least twenty arrows later, fire no effect, Ice no effect, Electricity maybe minor effect, then hard point arrows and it died, so if that continues it's going to be frustrating. On the other hand Ireally showed what a boss I am to some badgers, goats and squirrels and some Watchers and some Striders. Had lots of chats, picked up quests and generally admired the view far too much. Most of the NPC's so far seem a step up from the main game. Pic's Damn she must be cold Chief Grumpy Pants Like Laulai wish the game had romances Enjoyed chatting to the painter This guy (Burgrent?) is great Aloy enjoyed the story of Banukai Scenery

So again not much time yesterday but decided to go with the strategy of clearing the map and doing what I came across and doing some hunting. Felt sorry about killing some owls (some on the wing which impressed myself ) but assume they have a use. Damn Fire Scorchers re giving me grief but everything else seems OK if I can get a stealthy approach on them. Got the Tall Neck working again, drained the dam for Laulai and listened too her drum for a while. Found lots of data points including the ones from the girls at the dam which were great. Got on top of the wall and noticed some control tower things and machines so killed them and now headed North up the western side of the map collecting pigments and Blue Gleam. Frozen and Broken Tall Neck and fixed Tall Neck Met this guy and took care of his Machine problem Came across some villagers fishing Love Laulai's (aka The Little Drummer Girl ) passion, one of favourite NPC's Snow, Snow and more Snow Scenery

So just more map clearing but I hope I am not causing a problem for myself. The Control tower things in the game I have clearing them as I proceed but have not started the main quest Shamans Path yet. Is someone ( Obsidian Gryphon Hrungr azarhal) able to please tell me I won't have to do them again???? Cleared some more corrupted animals I cam across, found figurines, Blue Gleam and Pigments and a Bandit Camp which was fun..... sort of. I cleared the whole camp till the boss man who I didn't expect to be an actual boss as they weren't really in the main game. So anyway that was fun (DazK) runs around in a panic!!!!! I blew his companions 4 I think by shooting Blaze containers as they walked past and then figured I'd hit the boss with flame arrows but alas they didn't seem to work and I was then not hidden. His attacks were pretty damn powerful, like lose 3/4 of your health powerful. So ran around healing and shooting him with my ice rail or whatever it is called but it took ages to kill him. So i figure there is a better way, I had actually hoped to stealth kill him but as said before blew my hiding spot. Pic's Enjoyed Opali's little speeches. Another destroyed Control Tower Boss dude and his flunkies Scenery

Another question, I have every outfit and weapon does that mean I can clear my inventory of stuff except what I have collected in TFW?
In particular resources such as Watcher Hearts and Lenses or do you need them for quests in TFW?

Alternatively, jab a needle into it to make it do what you want.

The control towers are a one time thing, but some of the areas where they were will respawn the other enemies but not all of them. Will me clearing them all effect any quests though? Effect or affect? Start a quest? No. Make an area in which a quest takes place easier to roam in, yes.

I think I know where you are. Only one area with control tower plus scrappers plus stalkers and watchers. The tower is inside a house isn't it? I didn't bother taking out the scrappers. I approached from the frozen pond area, cloaked btw and scouted. I saw the stalkers' EWT and knew they were around. The moment I saw those beacons I just sat and watched, looking for that blurring outline. I didn't sit there without precautions. I lay tripwires all around Aloy. Once I figured there wasn't one patrolling near Aloy, I moved nearer to the house where there's a sort of ruin over the top of the frozen pond. From there, I had a clear shot at the exhaust module of the control tower. Again, I put down some trip wires before taking out the control tower then hightail it back to where the tripwires were heavily planted because by then, the stalkers were heading towards Aloy's position.

Yeah that sounds like it near Old Faithful and the animal museum you collect the figurines for. It was a bit annoying really as I wanted to explore the area really thoroughly but the damn Stalkers respawn almost immediately even after killing them which was a trial for me.

So yesterday set about clearing more of the map but came to a part where I had to do The Shaman's Path, I quite enjoyed it but I hate platform mechanics in RPG's. I absolutely suck at them and died more times on that stupid log bridge that goes up and down than I have in all of HZD and all of my 800hrs in AC Odyssey. Anyway got through that to then have to do puzzles, another thing I suck at, figured out the first one easily enough through sheer luck but the second one took me 30+ minutes. Good thing we were ordering Take Away/Take Out and I didn't have to cook or people would have had a late dinner!!!!! Anyway that was my game play for the day. Will go back to doing a side quest I have to find the rail for the forge fire and to find the last few figurines and pigments before pushing the main quest even though I have done enough of the required activities to. Pic's Defeated this Robot Monstrosity Spoke to this woman and a "Spirit" Spoke to this guy at the animal museum, liked his insightful comments!!!! Scenery

One thing I really like about HZD are how different the side quests are to a lot of other games but are also so realistic in regards to life. I did one yesterday to rescue the two Whitefang women doing their 4 day trial and just really liked how ther was no happy ending (which was disappointing) and that it played out how an unexpected real life scenario could play out. The NPC's in TFW have been really great, Iraki in this quest is one of my favourites again I wish that she and could have continuing adventures and a romance together. Anyway not much done, got the rail for the spear and I like visiting all those old world buildings. Decided to fight the Daemonic Thunderjaw, god what was i thinking. Was a hell of a fight and the closest Aloy has come to death against a Thunderjaw with about 60% health left and no more hitting "Q" to heal. Seem to keep coming across damn Stalkers the last two days, pesky damn things!!!!! Anyway got one more side quest (I hope) to find three Oseram for Bergund and then the showdown that Oserea sets you up for with Atarak or whatever the chiefs name is. Pic's Loved this lady This one not so much Finally someone with some spirit and brains Damn Daemonic Thunderjaw Now if only Aloy could Overide this and fly around: Again another good NPC, I liked her picture she painted of Aloy
