I always let him walk even though I do want to put a bullet in his head. I did it because of the hostages and in ME3, I did it for the war assets to help the greater good. Canon (neutral) colonist/Akuze Shep kills him in BDTS. My paragon colonist/Akuze Shep didn't, though. If I played an Earthborn/ruthless Shep (probably will at some point) she would kill. Never gonna play a Spacer/War Hero Shep bc I just find it boring but she would save. Not sure what I would do irl. Probably save because he has a point and there are hostages. No wait, probably kill bc of the slaver thing I forgot about. I always believe that somewhere, someday he'll get caught. Sometimes justice is just slow. Besides, by playing judge I gained a small fleet of very angry, focused and eager Batarians to fight the Reapers. However, I totally get wiping that POS out. |

My theory:
He's a clone, a few Batarian DNA sequences were stored away by The Benefactor, just in cast things went tits up & during the 14 months before Hyperion showed, The Benefactor grew themselves some Batarians.
Just my stupid idea.

A few more theories.
1. Batarians are the Jardaan. After the Ark left Milky Way and Shepard won the Reaper War, they finally put to use their Reaper research, ascended to demigodhood, quickly travelled to Andromeda and created the angara and the Remnants.
2. Batarians are the guys that created Scourge. Same as the previous, but they drove away or exterminated the Jardaan and fucked up the cluster.
3. Batarians were cloned by salarians from the DNA samples. The salarians resurrected a whole species of freaking dinosaurs at a very short notice, the batarians probably aren't much more complex.
